congrats to the italians for a hard fought win, especially considering nigel owens french connections came out in flying blue colours.

really loved that performance from the azzuri, especially the last 10mins, some nail biting stuff.

ireland and england must now be the favourites to win, with england having th3e better team, but ireland having the better BOD motivation and u can never rule out the fighting irish.

Agree with you, delighted for Italy it's great to see how far they have come! The French did not play as a team today no one wanted to take command and Italy wanted it more. Enjoyed the rugby this week-end.

I for one believed that after walloping the Walabies and Argentnians in November, that the French would be the team to beat this year in the 6-Nations.   So of all the teams - the Italians was the firs team to do so.  Was really surprised byt that one - I admit and it brought my theory crashing down.

However, I am not ruling out the French completely from winning the trophy.   The French is a funny side - one never knows what team turns up at games - they can be brilliant one game and complete dolts the next one.   .  The trophy will depend on how they fare in the games against England and Ireland
