No Adendorff to start, one of the players names as player of the year, go figure Theron. How difficult would it have been to move Liebenberg to 8 ahead of the very average Booysen and have Adendorff at 6. Theron is really clueless

I think that Jordaan must still be injured - otherwise he would be in the team.   What a pity.   As to Adendorff not starting is to my mind a problem - I would have moved Liebenberg to no 8.   However, Liebenberg showed nothing in the game he played, but he is the captain and they cannot leave him out and then there could also be  other considerations by leaving out Booysen - who himself was extremely poor.

I am not happy about the situation as to the bench - especially in the back line.    Jantjies was a disaster from the word go and Griesel was not much better.

I think that Theron needs to go farming - a coach he is defnitely not.

I was extreme;ly disappointed when I saw the team and did not do an assessment of performances thus far in the WC.   Lets do it now:-

15    Leyds     - medicore thus far                                -      4

14   Ruhle         First game - bad under high ball     -       6

13   Van Wyk    Did not play thus far.

12  Serfontein                                                                -        9

11   Mbovane     Showed nothing thus far                -        4

 10   Pollard                                                                    -       8

   9   Van der Walt                                                           -       6

   8   Booysen                                                                  -       3

   7   Du Toit                                                                    -        8

  6   Liebenberg                                                             -        4

  5   Botha                                                                       -        7

  4   Willemse                                                                 -       5

  3   Van Dyk                                                                   -        6

  2   Pretorius                                                                 -        7

  1   Kitshoff                                                                     -       8

Bench:

16   Marais                                                              -        ?

17  Alan Dell                                                            -       ?

18  Kebble                                                              -        4

19   Adendorff                                                         -         9

20   Griesel                                                               -       2

21  Jantjies                                                              -        1

22  Ismaiel                                                              -         ?

There are four players I could not rate because they had virtually no game time to assess their performances.   However, the wak players are going to cause major problems - especially in the case of the bench.   What if Pollard or Serfomtein gets injured - we have nothing to replace them with.    Why did they not at least try and put Hammond on the bench?

Griesel and Jantjies - blaas my siel!!!!!!!!!

I thought we could win the WC - but the poor players are going to cost us dearly.   There are just too many of them.    Leyds would not make the Witgatwortelfontein second team.    Rhule on attack looks beautiful - but he was poor in the first game under high balls.    Mboveni cannot be assessed and he did nothing noteworthy against the POMS and the Argentinians.    Liebenberg was poor against the POMS - end of story.

I think we now have a 5% chance of winning - thanks to Theron and his selectors.

There has to be a logical explanation on Adendorf!

Maybe he is injured and has been included on the bench simply because he is so good?

Dunno, just doesnt make sense.

Liebenberg is definitly no great shakes!

Lets give poephol THeron an opportunity to explain.

But it also baffles me totally!

Baffling stuff from Dawie. Perhaps he is wanting Adendorf  to be the impact player.

Man without both Small Smith and Jordaan are we stuffed in the backline?

Beeno - stuffed is really putting it mildly.   We - the pubklic - are paying to watch games and we lose them before anything else, because of rank stupidity of our coaches.  This is really the pits    Theron took us suddenly from a potential winner to a definite loser - what is wrong with the coach - or does he think the public is plain stupid.

Pieter De Villiers would have done a better job with that  squad then this village idiot.

I have changed my Avater to represent Theron

Mike come now, Rhule was awesome the other night. He gets an 8 for that performance. Willemse has been huge as an enforcer and gets an 8.

Jordaan is injured, so there were not many options left for the bench

Saffex

I have a slight problem with Rhule - he was very bad under the high ball in the Irish game - the only reason for the 6.    If he was more solid in that game - definitel higher.   Willemse is too cumbersone to be a rugby player - that means 5 in my book.

What comes out on my royal seat is what i think of Theron.

Exactly what I think of Theron - you put it very well.  I just don't like Willemse - maybe I am biased

Willemse was good enough to play Super 15 rugby, so not sure what you are on about

Sorry SAF... gota agree...

I was a fan of Willemse, but he does look a bit cumbersome.

He played a good game for the Lions some time back, but since then he just looks like an oversized buffalo.

Disagree, he has taken all his line-out ball, likes to run with ball in hand and makes an impression when he does and above all he hits those rucks with interest, clearing players out the way. I like his hard edge and he must be good in the scrums given his 127kg frame
