Baby Bok squad to tour Argentina

SA Under 20 coach Dawie Theron has named 34 players to tour Argentina early next month as the final preparation ahead of this years IRB Junior World Championship. The squad will play two tests against the Argentine under 20 side, as well as a midweek fixture, during their tour which kicks off on 10 April.

It does not include any of the S15 players

 A few of then stand out with Swanepoel and Fisher catching my attention.

Yes Tyler Fisher is a try scoring machine, good to see him playing for the Sharks Vodacom Cup side and Dries Swanepoel is one that should make a similar impression to Jan Serfontein, given they were regarded as equals at school and SA Schools where they have played together.

Sadly Dries missed all of last season injured.

Add Jan Serfontein, Sergel Petersen and Jaques du Plessis to this squad and it should be competitive. Its a pity Tim Swiel chose to withdraw

Much appreciated/  I hope their matches are telecasted - but doubt whether it will be.  I do not think Serfontein will be released for the Under Under 29 WC - he is likely to be in the Springbok squad as far as I read the situation - and especially if he keeps up his present level of performances for the Bulls.
