I have seen a few University Cup and Vodacom Cup matches and I am not sure what the have done as to the above team.   Cannot reall having seen much of Geduld though aand Pollard did play a few matches at 12.

However, it bothers me - the selection of the first game last year was botched altogether and the Baby Boks lost in their game against Ireland,  Has Theron got it right this time around?  There are a lot of questions to be answered here and you may be able to help:-

*    Is Geduld really a better proposition at 13 than Dries Swanepoel?   I tried to find his profile anywhere but could not find anything on the internet.

*    Is Pollard really a better proposition at 12 than  Janse van Rensburg and Swanepoel?

*   Is Du Preez a better flyhalf than Pollard?

*   What do you think about the forwards?

I like Du Preez- I've watched him from high School days at Kearsney- He's a big lad and has a big boot on him- He likes to get the backline running as well. Pollard at least has the experience, which might be needed at no10 to control the game. But thats why they probably playing him at no12 as well, as a safety should the going get tough for Du Preez. But i think Du Preez will manage! Tomorrows game will tell.

Theron has completely fucked the side up. Geduld is a lightweight stringbean who plays 7's. Swanepoel is twice the 13 as is Tyler Fisher who did not even make the side. Pollard is nowhere near as good as Janse v Rensburg at 12. Klobe is another tiny guy at 15. The best 9 is Venter who is on the bench. This Baby Bok side thanks to Theron is going to struggle as he has left some class acts at home and selecting an under strength side given the squad

I was afraid that you would comment as you did - that is why I asked specific questions,   I have seen Geduld playing at 7's - he is a smallish guy with a heck of a lot of speed - but not stromg enough in my opnion to play at 13.   I have no problems with 7's players at full back or on the wing - not at center.

I have seen both Van Rensburg and Pollard play at 12 and must say Van Rensburg is a much better 12 than Pollard is and the combination of Van Rensburg and Swanepoel is a deadly one on attack.

I have seen Kolbe playing in both types of rugby and has no problem with him - he is very, very good.

However, we will see tomorrow what happens.   We are indeed lucky not to start the tournament against a very strong team - like last year - but tomorrow should indicate on whether you and I am right or whether Theron has fucked up again.

The likes of Kolbe and Geduld who are so tiny, will be exposed at international U20 level. Same happened to the stringbean 15 that played for the Baby Boks last year.

My sons school coach, a Saffa, showed me Youtube clips of last years Baby Bok fullback playing at school, where he played 10. It was simlar the Tim Swiel's showings at school. These little guys are great at school or in 7's but get exposed by the big boys. Theron is too stupid to comprehend this

Watch du Plessis at 7, he is the next Etzebeth or Steph du Toit......playing at flank but is a lock. He is 2.01m and 119kg

Baby Bok backs should have been:

15. Jessie Kriel 14. Tyler Fisher 13. Dries Swanepoel 12. Rohan Janse v Rensburg 11. Senatla 10. Pollard 9. Venter
