78-31 in first of 3 matches, scoring 12 tries. What is strange is that the Baby Bok side contained players (in bold) that are not in the official squad and who should have been in the side

The side that played was:

The Junior Springbok Training Squad line-up vs Argentina U20 at Saldanha:
1. Pierre Schoeman (Vodacom Blue Bulls)
2. Corniel Els (Vodacom Blue Bulls)
3. Wilco Louw (Vodacom Blue Bulls)
4. JD Schickerling (DHL Western Province
5. Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg (Vodacom Blue Bulls)
6. Ramone Samuels (Golden Lions)
7. Jean Luc du Preez (Cell C Sharks)
8. Aidon Davis (EP Kings)
9. Zee Mkhabela (Toyota Free State Cheetahs)
10. Jaco van der Walt (Golden Lions)
11. Duhan van der Merwe (Vodacom Blue Bulls)
12. Daniel du Plessis (DHL Western Province)
13. Rohan Janse van Rensburg (Vodacom Blue Bulls)
14. Sergeal Petersen (EP Kings)
15. Warrick Gelant (Vodacom Blue Bulls)

Ja its sort of ok - its an old injury.......playing cricket does not help.....when you try klap the ball out the ground.

Talking of cricket, I was watching Durham vs Yorkshire today and it was really strange seeing two of SA's great keepers sons both playing for Durham......Ray Jennings son opens the batting and Dave Richardson's son bats at 5......have these youngsters turned their backs on SA? I think Keplers son also plays out here

If a below strength Baby Bok side could thrash the Pumas, imagine what a full strength side comprising the following would do (bold not in the squad) :

15. Jessie Kriel 14. Duhan v/d Merwe 13. Rohan Janse v/Rensburg 12. Andre Esterhuizen 11. Sergel Petersen 10. Handre Pollard 9. Cameron Wright  1.Thomas du Toit 2. Malcolm Marx 3. Wilco Louw 4. Gideon Koegelenberg 5. JD. Schickerling 6. Thabo Mabuza 7. Jean-Luc Du Preez 8. Ayron Schramm

16. Corniel Els 17. Pierre Schoeman 18. Dayan v/d Westhuizen 19. RG. Snyman 20. Hano Venter 21. Justin Philips 22. Jean Luc du Plessis 23. Daniel Kriel

Two things I want to add.   I was watching IPL cricket and Quinton de Kock is playing hot cricket - he is playing for Delhi and is on contract with them for 6 weeks earning $583 000 for the 6 weeks.  There are 14 SA cricketers participating contracted by various teams,  The most expensive players like Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers is paid $1 100 000 for the 6 weeks.    Kallis is also contracted for $980 000, but he has been dropped for the team of Kolkatta - not good enough anymore.
Now back to the JWC Rugby.   I know the team picked by you is the best - but there is no chance that they would play them - since the quota system will not allow for it,   However, I think Duhan van der Merwe. Du Plessis  and Van Rensburg played in the Argenina game because of the squad players having other commitments on senior level.  Theron made a serious mistake about leaving especially van der Merwe and Du Plessis out of the squad.  Both scored 2 tries against the Junior Pumas.
The ne xt match is tomorrow and I think the same team has been selected for that game.           .

Thanks for the team - I hope they are convincing tomorrow as the first team was I am still not happy about Duhan van der Merwe.   He was by far the best player in that age group and has proven it - but Theron is obstinate about selections and is going to look foolish again in future.
There is a third match - I think on Friday and I suppose they will ahve a different team again for that match.

Lloyd Greef on the wing is even bigger than v/d Merwe, he weighs 103kg......not sure how good he is.

The backline is good, loose forwards are suspect in the side above as is du Preez at lock, he is not big enough for lock. Mxoli at loosehead is not a merit selection
