Pathetic scrumming by baby Boks! Unbelievable.
Baby Boks versus wales
Every time there is a scrum its a welsh penalty. Our Tighthead a lump of lard of some 129 is pathetic. Could cost us the match
Wales just got a penalty in 30th minute for a joke Springbok scrum. Wales kick for poles into 3 points
We are going to have to score tries to beat all these scrum penalties
Very clever decoy try by Boks! Difficult conversion by Pollard!! 7-5 to Boks
Avoid the scrum if possible. Man I cant believe how poor its has been.
Wales score knock on try!
Now is crunch time.
Kwagga scores genuine try!! Go Bokke!
Wales score!! Conversion will win it for Wales.
Wales ahead. Wales win.
Baby Boks lost in the scums and the knock on try allowed to Wales. One laments the absence of Jan and Goosen. Lost a lot of class there.
Not too many players to enthuse about. Jacque Du Plessis has a future. Kolbe as a scrummie. Herbst was it at lock looks good.Senatla and Orbi if they can front up physically. Scrummie was useful also Ungerer?
What a lesson to learn- the lost art of scrumming.
Bad luck Bean Brain.
Must have been a fluke last year i guess seeing you can't back it up.
Am expecting a more inspired performance from the Boks this weekend as we may all die laughing here in NZ if you can't beat those fat Samoans
Really dissapointed that they lost it in the last minute, really dumb decisions, Kolbe proofed that he can't kick and not suited for fullback. Also showed that he is mentally week. Made to many mistakes.
Pollard is not a 12. I would agree that only 4 or 5 players have a futures but I wouldn't say that they are future springboks at all.
We needed Tim Swiel and Tyler Fisher.
Brycy
We outplayed, outsmarted and destroyed the baby Blacks last year. Do not forget this a u/20 championship which was the old u/21 tournament which we won a few occasions.
Unlike last years team which was a collection of players from all over the country this year the squad is mostly Blue Bulls players which sat on a bench most of theyear. Some played against amateurs and beat them up where the Tuks coaching staff was pulled into the Baby Boks team. Well as we can see beating up amateurs aclompish nothing.
Shezz Tim Swiel did not want to play cause its our designated 2nd team and he wants to have his England options open if Bok selection fails him in future.
But it show you what Blue Bulls coaching can do to a team. They turned promising youngters that could kick run and scrum into a team that can't even beat a bunch of sheep floggers, scrum or tackle.
Pollard use to be good. Could kick run set his backline in motion. That was when he was at the WP academy.
Now he is crap.
The commentators on Sky Sports were pratically rim licking the Welsh. The Welsh rugby figures at halftime were also incredibly bias...
You must understand Wales do not see many finals in World Rugby tournaments. So forgive them for being a bit excited. Feel sorry for the sheep tonite. Goin to be a couple of boozed up drunken welshman looking for sex
Spoony if you were around here last year yr fickle supporters had completely written off the baby boks after Ireland. Started attacking Saffex for talking them up. Funny.az.
But shown to be one hit wonders i'm afraid..
Good news for Sharks fans is that they're coach Brendan Venter assisted in playing players out of position and na forward play.
Brycy how can you say one hit wonders if the only guy who played in last years tournament was Pollard.
Take guys like Goosen, Serfontein, Sergeal Petersen, Kitshoff , Willemse, Adendorff, Liebenberg just to name a few out of a team and you are not going to be as good. At least we do not cherry pick from Samoa and Fiji and use South Africans. Like I said when you want to win everytime you will lie cheat and steal to do it. NZ steal players from Fiiji and Samoa every year and use them in the JWC.
Like you say it's a contact sport and injuries aren't an excuse. Same old same old about us stealing players but can you name a single one?
And One hit wonders is totally appropriate coz you have only won the comp once whereas we've lost count of how many times the Kiwis have...
This Baby Bok side had no grunt in the forwards other than Jacques du Plessis. Their scrum was piss poor and there was no imagination in the backs. du Preez is a boring 10 and Pollard is not a 12.
While its not a great Baby Bok side, they were robbed by a stupid English ref who awarded a Welsh try when it was clear the player spilt the ball going over for the try. Why did the useless ref not refer it?
tough luck to the jrBoks, ref dropped the ball on that one, well the wlesh did really, but u know what i mean.
looking forward to see du plesiss in the future, hes looking the goods.
Yes a bit of bad luck. That try and hitting the posts with a goal kick. Should have made the final.
But if the scrumming lesson is learnt its worth it. That was a disgrace.
