Bad news about William Small-Smith

He will not be fit for the final as a result of a knee injury and will be replaced in the squad by Dean Hammond.   Finality on the position of Jordaan will only be available on Wednesday.

Hope Jordaan comes through.

Excuse my ignorence... Whats the status of Pat Howard?

Accoreding to the announcement by the team management he is out for three months due to injury.  Still with the squad - but not playing

I really hope this wont be one those knee injuries that spoils his career. He really looks like positive future prospect for us.

Howard is out of the squad, but Kobus v/Wyk has replaced him. Kobus would have made the original squad but for being injured at the time. He and Howard were invited by Meyer to the Bok training camp so must be a pretty good centre

The loss of Howard, SmallSmith and Jordaan could prove fatal, However lets hope Jordaan is okay and that Kobus can step up. If our forwards then get on top we are still in with a good shout.

 I take it If Jordaan is fit he will play 13, with v wyk on the bench. he most probably won't change anything else. To keep continuity.

However If Jordaan is not Fit v Wyk might get his start. 

Also Leyds i think has had his chance. the only unforced change in the backline that i would make is put Marais Schmidt in at Fullback with Leyds on the bench.
