Bad news and very bad news

After a recent visit to his internist, a concerned patient  waits for the test results. Finally the doctor calls and alarmingly says :"I have bad news and very bad news, which do you want to hear first".
Stunned, the patient says: "man that sounds awful, but please start with the bad news"
"Okay, will do.....I'm sorry to say the results are indisputable, they showed you have an untreatable infection which will overwhelm your system in 24 hours"

The patient groaned:" that's shocking doc, I can't believe there can be anything worse, what the hell is the very bad news"?
"Well I regret to say I tried to reach you with the results yesterday"

 Nah if I was writing this for the good Oom.....the bad news would be the Springboks won, and the very bad news would be they won by 20 points. Hehe.
