Saw a status update from a squad member elluding to PAUL JORDAAN tearing his ACL. I hope this is not true! What will we do??
Well if that is true, they will play Piet Lindeque at 13, who was the SA Schools star a few years back. Got no game time at the Sharks, moved to the Bulls this season, has been in great form for the Bulls Vodacom Cup side and now finds himself back in favour with the Sharks as he is part of their touring squad.
By all accounts Lindeque is a very good player. Play Frans at 12 and Lindeque at 13.
Its confirmed Jordaan is out, as is young Bulls lock Paul Willemse for 3 months with knee injury.
Injuries and players leaving is now getting out of hand
Yeah, he is dating a mutual friend and she reckons it is true. Cant find anything on the net though or sharks website.
After an ACL reconstruction, players are never really the same. Seem to lose pace..
Who is the likely option to fly over as cover? Can Lindeque do the job for the Sharks??

Jordaan's injury is confirmed on there. Lindeque will do a good job by all accounts. Sadly we will probably see Marius Joubert brought in to replace Jordaan in th squad. They should go with Baby Bok Tyler Fisher.
Surely Plum would be silly now to leave Steyn out. We dont have options anymore. We need Steyn to step in and do a job for us. Probably at 12 because Meyer Bosman is hardly going to help a man like Lindeque "settle" in nicely..
I have heard of Tyler Fisher. Marius is worse than Bosman these days tho!!
Very sorry to hear jordaan is injured and you loosing ou ton the girl boklogic!! Hope Jordaan has no long ter effects. Talk about things going pear shaped!! However believe me if the team doent do well Plum and the palyers will get stick from the uninformed.
This is a nasty season regarding injuries. It would be useful to know how we are faring as compared to the Oz and Nz conferences. Could playing Saffa teams too much be a factor? Is our style of play unsustainable or the conditiong wrong. Whats up Doc?
Sorry to hear about Jordaan's injury. He had a very average season this year - largely due to him having to play outside two failed no 12's - so his further playing this year seems to be over. I think this was the last straw for the Sharks - it would kill the remainder of their campaign - since the injury listt seems to grow every Match.
It was weird - the second injury that ends the years play by a player practising outside of games. Goosen was one and now Jordaan. What is going on?
