Pity it was a game of 2 halves but I will not complain. The Free State forwards were in control. Ruan Pienaar had once again a good game for the Cheetahs and I am convinced his return from oversea was perhaps a few weeks too late.

Although opposition watered down towards the end the Cheetahs have stated that the Pro14 is a tough competition and it's down them well.
