Ex Sa Rugby Mag

THE MONEY MAN is putting R2,000 on the Springboks to beat Argentina comfortably in Salta on Saturday.

Last week, the Boks played awful and won an ugly game of rugby. They left 16 points on the field that should have been scored. And even if they had scored those points and won by a decent margin, the Boks still flattered to deceive.

I maintain that Argentina are not a good team, but my concern is not with any players rather with the Springbok coaching staff.

That said, Argentina have only beaten South Africa once and home advantage will mean nothing in this game. Flying to Salta is not taxing from a travelling point of view and will actually be a pleasant tour for the Bok players, which allows for an extra week of working together and developing cohesion.

I doubt the Boks can play any worse than they did in Nelspruit last week. So, with the bookies offering a 9/10 bet on them to win by four or more points, I reckon there is value to be had.

They should win by 15 and I'm putting down R2,000 on the Springboks to comfortably win by that margin. The bet placing pays out R1,800 plus my stake back.

Gooooo Bokke make wee cc's day!

Beeno, yes the Boks might "stand up" in this game, one must remain hopeful & putting a few rand on them to win is a very brave step which must be commended. Some might call it fool hardy & rash but you never know, maybe the boks can pass a few balls & even catch some of them. It could happen... one must remain optimistic

Beeno, I took into account your measly income. Shame you drew attention to it but it was a self inflicted wound.

 Haaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!
It would have been easier for you to simply flush the money down the toilet, Beandip!!!
Feeling a little foolish now, huh?
Now say after me ... "Wee CC ... I am very sorry I doubted you" ... "You are right ... and have in fact always been right ... and I will follow your fine example from this day forth"
"I'm a chump ... a silly beef starved chump ... and promise never to say those awful things about you ... EVER AGAIN"
"Pleassssssssse Sir ... Find it in your gracious heart to forgiveeee meeeeee?"

Mrs Beeno will cut back on Beeno's allowance, reduce his food portions & he will soon be back to financial solvency with the life style he has become accustomed to. It was a Trum@pish mistake for sure.

Beeno that better be a veggie stew!the incensed Mrs Beeno bellowed!

THE MONEY MAN is putting R2,000
Note oaks I highlighted the words MONEY MAN. This was Money Man's opinion not mime! Deliberately as i suspected Boks would lose. I never in this thread said Boks would win. I only gave my support to them hoping they would make qee CC day. Bwahahhahahahahahahahah it's like taking candy from a baby!
ou warped dud of course has no idea what the rand is worth or about financial affairs.
I am right now having a very nice beef stew thanks JW.
Yup the oaks will have to up their game very significantly to stay even remotely in touch of the redoubtable Beeno!
ou cc is sooo anti the Boks it's a bit much. However I can understand his stance as I have said before.
