There is no such team as the " Poms ", so I will disregard that comment.
Scotland has an infestation at present and has been treating Murrayfield with a garlic solution to try and make the pitch playable for weeks...oh yes, that was making the pitch playable !!!
They will insist on playing with the stupid roof shut in Cardiff, which, I am told, creates a strange atmosphere akin to a greenhouse so can have a detrimental effect on the grass there...and makes the players fall over a lot, by all accounts !!

Weather conditions are also problematic at times over here, as has been shown during the past couple of 6 Nations. The pitches all over have cut up badly, worse we've seen for donkey's years.

However, that's the game. Put up and shut up, Beeno !!!

Thanks for your accurate assessment of yours truly Reds. 
I was in two minds as to the deeper reasons. The oaks up north including the pine would have seen how strong Bok scrumming was and been concerned. However they would also have noted how pap the abs scrum was and not been concerned. These fields made scrumming a lottery. The Oz scrum is also a little shaky at times but improving rapidly. Hence I could only conclude that they are unable to have decent grass growing on their fields due to rank incompetence or because of an overweening fear of the Bok scrum and that it was the Boks they really feared.
Running rugby on these pitches was possible so to me it was all about the scrum. The only scrum they were worried about was the Bok scrum. So was it rank incompetence or fear of the Bok scrum one wonders. Becs will blame the weather but how can the weather be a factor as this has not happened on past tours. 
One senses the uk oaks are getting devious and consequently one of course senses a kiwi type manouvre going on here?  

 I am well aware of your silly little acronym.....but there was a first meaning of it and it actually referred to the colour the Irish settlers turned in the heat. The colour of a POMEGRANATE.
And there's rather a lot of your countrymen and women over here, " working " as only you can, in our bars and dossing in houses across London, mainly the Neasden area it seems......that it infested and nasty, I have to say



The pitch at Twickenham is fine, thank you.
I don't speak for the others. That is their problem and, very often, the pitch is terrible in Paris. Yet we still manage to scrummage and we all manage to run.
You should have put 60 on Scotland...don't blame the pitch !

Redsman its a privlege to be posting with one whose common sense and being firmly grounded on matters pertaining to rugby and life are so well grounded.Please excuse cloudy who is not quite herself today.
I am expecting the wobblies to be beating the abs as well next year as they persevere with we mcaaw, crockety carter, wheezing woodcock, malingering mealamu, and we colourless conrad the slow coach etc etc.Nobody will ever be able to say Beeno why didnt you warn us.
