Your pack weighing in at 858 kgs is very good for such a pathetically small pack but it came of second best and led directly to your problems.

Surely you have some bigger men than this?

Finally if you parasites want to import players why dont you import big mobile dominant forwards from South Africa as this is what you desparately need. Or much better develop some yourselves - there is a novel idea for you. The Pelouse type .

Watching the abs its all the same old thing - shut down their forwards which really shouldnt require that much effort and then their backline shuts down. Frogs go and study the Dunedin test and the Twicks test

Its all very simple.

Cant wait to watch it! Reading the herald it sounds like the AB's were devastating on defence. 30 zip and no Mcaw or Carter. I still had my reservations about Hansen and wanted and i guess still want to see him lose a few and see what he's like under the pump, but maybe the guy is something special. Is there a site where I can watch delayed coverage?

According to me spoonie a 858 kg pack is too light if you want to be competitive. Rediculous to think otherwise.

I suggest Beeno you should apply for the forwards coach and maybe Saffex for the backline opening?

But as for packs name me the super 15 packs weighing in at 858kg. Over too you.

Meyer had better wake up and pick a decent pack against Samoa. 

It's never goin to be 'that' simple beanzippo. lower hips and square backs can literally take a bigger mans strength right out from under them at scrum time. Only thing I would say was manadtory is obviously tall locks, other than that your really only looking at horse's for courses really, some games you would want a very tight set piece and bash things in close quarters, other games you want mobility to simply out score a tight set piece side who may not be capable of posting a high score.

What the frogs did or did not think is irrelevant. They were plain dumb field such a light weight pack.

Well after hearing about the 'big bad' bokkee game I sure am looking forward to my rugby lesson uncle benzipp.....Burrrrhahahah...burrrhahaha.

Rugby you need to apply a balancing act between mobility and pund for pound. If you play with a lighter pack then you need to stretch play and make sure you tire out the oppositions biggger forwards first before handing the ball over to them. Like NZ do against us. You will note them always taking it up from set plays wwhere we prefer to kick from it.

If you play with a  heavier pack then you are going to have to kick tactically to give the bigger oakes a rest. Throwing the ball left and right you are going to struggle to keep possesion as a more mobile pack will beat you the breakdown more often than not. That is why Cheetahs can play the game they always play cause all the years they have had a mobile pack to support them quick all over the park.

The Bulls have tried to add some mobility to their pack by getting more mobile props but by doing that they have given up grunt in the scrums reason why the once great Bulls scrum is now reduced to a points machine for the opposition.

So you can have a massive 1000kg pack. You can still be pushed around by small packs if their tactics fit their mobility. Kiwi's have nailed that part right on the money and they have wingers who are not afraid to help clear ruck
