Storemers still at no 12 on the log - what a disgrace.   The were gifted a free try by the referee and they still cannot win - what more did they want.   Let me put it bluntly - what else can be done about this latest disaster.

I think that Coetzee must go - he cannot keep on selecting tripe players in the team.   De Jongh tonight did very well - he scored two tries - but how many tackles did he miss?   I lost count eventually.  The one should never have been a try - but it is on record as one - so we have to accept it.

I think really they need to start doing something about the Stormers.   First thing the backline need to e changed.  Jantjies tonight was a dud - but his replacement really showed nothing special.   De Jongh tried - but he knocked on balls, missed countless tackles, gave away a crucial penalty and was really not up to standard of a Vodacomn player.  I would change the backline and now that Taute is out - move Pretorius to full back - Aplon on the wing and play De Villiers at 13 - with De Allende at 12.

That brings me back to that last penalty.   De Allende had two choices - give away the penalty or allow the Cheetahs to score a try.  He chose the penalty and that sealed the game for the Cheetahs in any event.

12th on the log?   Who will play the Lions to remain in Super 15?   Looks more and more like the Stormers are the strongest candidate to do so..

Yes, the Stompies are too pathetic for words. Hilarious after all the pre-tournament boasting from the big-mouth Blowhards!

And yes, you're right ou Maaik. The officials gave the Stompies a very dodgy try and they still couldn't win. What a bunch of losers!

Thanks ou maaaike it has a hard one to lose. Sarel was gifted a try and so we got one we shouldnt have.

On the rugby played it was close. However yet again we lose a close match.

Far too much quality missing from the team. I grant you Jantes has flopped down here. His hospital passs will get some poor oke killed.

However when you consider we had Tiaan, Etzebeth, Burger and Elstadt and that other big flanker, missing and Grant, Habana, Van der heever also out its just too much quality and so the close losses are actually meritrious in that sense.

Now I wonder if Taute is tickets. Frankly we cannot afford anymore injuries. And unless we get back some guys we are going nowhere. Again it is very obvious afull strength Stormers side would easily account for the Cheetahs.  No question of that. Trouble now also is the depth is disappearing and Coetzee will no doubt overplay some players.

You can blame Coetzee for some things but even he would have found it difficult to screw up had he had a fit squad. Get some perspective Mike unless you are a empty head like ou rooitwt one knows injuries can define a teams season. Will we get enough back to start winning is the big issue.

Yes the entire season depends now on the injury factor. When will Ezebeth, Tiaan and company return etc

As for ou rooitwit he is just being his usual empty head Bwahahahaahhaha what an ignoramus! No doubt he will be joined by ou black udder and other boneheads. Hahahahahahaha

Rhodes wasnt bad for a first outing and Van Aswegen look as if he has some promise. Play him rather than Jantjes. I have come to the end now with him. He doesnt have the head. Francis was far better. Cat is far better. End of story. He has had a number of chances but cant control a game. Perhaps also our style may not suit him as well?

Actually Hasbeen, the injuries have pushed us past the tipping point. Face it Schroeder, van Aswegen, Rhodes and Joe on the wing, are simply not S15 standard. If you then add Jantjies and Taute, disastrous trades, and Kitshoff who is a huge liability....this team has too many weak points.

One thing surprised me today though....the lack of energy. There was almost no kick rush....no attempt to sprint back for the ball....there were guys trotting all round the park. That has to be down to the coaching staff.

Never been a fan of Coetzee but even with his limitations we were good enough to win it this year. However these injuries have been crippling.  IT IS VERY ANNOYING TO LOSE TO LESSER TEAMS LIKE THE CRUSTIES AND CHEETAHS WHEN YOU SHOULD BE WALLOPING THEM. Sorry caps lock went on but perhaps necessarily!

Two things our scrum was fine and that with a non scrumming hooker, a lighweight lock and a lightweight 6. Wait till Kitshoff has Tiaan at hooker, Etzebeth and Burger at 6.  Kitshof coped well. However Coenie pulled a fast one on him and remember Coenie was fresh. Rhodes is good but not as good as Elstadt.

Such are the vagueries of sport.

Beanob what happened to the Chiefs?

...ol sitting bull looks pretty happy about his Chiefs team sitting at the top of the table while you guys are competing with the Kings for relagation. I'd be more worried about even being included in next years Super XV competition numb nut.

ss Beanob? Is that a reference to your nazi past.

Thought you might be related to one of those nazi propagandists like Joseph Goebbles who much like Beanob was the master of the “big lie” tactic in which a lie, no matter how outrageous, is repeated often enough that it will eventually be accepted as truth. Goebbels explained:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.

Sounds familiar huh...LMAO

You know Beeno. the old, well worn " we had (fill in the name) injured" so that's why we lost" among several other excuses, means you obviously are just overusing the cut and paste function on your computer. We hear so often on this forum how deep the talent pool is in SA, but how can it be if the injured players can't be replaced, or is it really only baby pool deep? Crusaders had enough depth to win against the Stormers....just saying. Inferences welcome.

By a lightweight lock Hasbeeno, I presume you're talking about Bekker? He's a liability with his lazy loose play. Get a hard man in there to give your team a chance.

The Chiefs are doing fine by the way. Picked up 4 points for the bye! How many did the Mild Zephyrs get?

Oh please mooo la Bekker has been a physical presence and by some way the best lock in the competition. Wait till Etzebeth joins him!

Ou mooooo la and the udder have something in common. Both are  ----- you guess what. HAHAHAHAHAHA

first off congrats to mike he called it. well done to the cheetahs. a win is a win. last year then lost these tight games but this year the rub of the green is with them. showing the way forward for SA teams right now. i am really enjoying the cheetahs brand of rugby right now.

to the stormers OMW gents when are you going to sack coetzee ?????????????

is the man unfireable surly. i feel a lot better when coetzee is in charge. a star studded team 4 odd points above the kings ??? that is rubbish by any anybody standards
