Yes Beeno you're not a bad okie albeit a misdirected one...your heart is in the right place but you are misunderstood...you know youre not perfect, like Mozart, Saffex, Dr Win or the Honourable San

But lets face it the Stormers are lost in confusion... Fleckie has no depth...was a good centre in his day but not able to lead men into battle...AC also is directionless...a little knowledge is worse sometimes than no knowledge at all.

Even Snoekbek was better when he left players to work out their own salvation and Smitty did the rest.

Good coaches see gaps, can work out unique strategies and see weaknessess in opposing good sides...Eddie sees this clearly, so does Ackers, and the NZ coaches in foreign lands like Milton Haig (Georgia) and Vern Cotter (Scotland) can produce amazing results in tailenders. Exception coaches, humble and good builders who do a real job of making ordinary men contesters.

Seb, Beeno does demonstrate the "no one is perfect" saying better than most Chiefs have a tough task in taking on the Canes as they are in top form, what a fantastic games they had last week.
Stormers have decent stats for the year, if you forget the quality of the opposition they look like a decent team . Change of coach would help a lot.
Comiserations to Stormers fans, better luck next year.

Well, JW, we had a 3 tiered competition this year, with the Stormers and Bools playing in the bottom one and the NZ teams in the top  one. Lions, Sharks and Ozzie teams in the middle tier. Not Ideal for building up form during the season, if the opposition is crap. I'm not saying we would have been better if we played more NZ teams, but atleast we would have been able to judge the team better, prior to the Q's

DB, it's a "we will never know" situation. For sure it was was an easier path to the finals & nothing they could do about that. It is also true that the strormers lack of playing top tier completion left them vulnerable when they got to the finals & we all saw the result. I still maintain that with a good coach they will be better next year. I believe next year they will be better prepared as they are play tougher opponents next year.

In the same noble spirit of sportsmanship I wish the Lions everything of the very best against the hapless highlanders.
Yes I do despite the Lions beating the Stormers.   What a fine example I am setting!

Beeno, as always, is willing to explain to other posters his grandiose perception of himself

To continue my excellent role modelling, I hereby wish the Lions the very best against the hapless wee chiefies in the final at Ellis Park.
Jw is a severe critic!

If the Chiefs are "hapless" - which of course only a deranged mind could conclude - what does that make the wee Stormers ?

Methinks Hasbeeno speaks with forked tongue. In wishing the Mighty Chiefs good luck he knows the Lions will have a home final if they overcome the Landers and the Chiefs also win. Then the Chiefs would face the impossible task of another trip to SA for the Final. Then you can just imagine his crowing if the Lions win.....

JW the Stormers are way below best and first have to sort out quotas and coaching issues. I trust you do understand that if the hapless wee chiefies selected on another criteria other than merit they wouldn't be at their best.
Beeno explaining elementary fundamentals to ou JW who struggles with basic concepts! Sigh!!!!

Have to say JW your wee chiefi es let me down. Made numerous silly mistakes. I will say though that the blowhard hurricanes camped offside. The fix was in!
