Bekker out for 5 weeks

Just heard that Andries Bekker will be out injured for 5 weeks, so no BOOLS game or test against England. Sad!

Are we sunk?

Kitshoff, Bekker, Burger , Vermuelen, Koster. Also no Joe Pietesen? Half the starting pack out and a reserve forward!

Man if we beat the bulle they will never hear the end of it!!  I know if we lose its the Stormers are useless and have no depth etc. Its all so predictable.

One wonders whether Bekker is finished as a player. This back problem keeps recurring and has clearly hindered him this seson..

You missed one beans, if the Stormers lose, they lose to the pink Bulls....now that will be funny!! It really is sad that injuries are costing the sa rugby public an epic clash.

Now to all you people who dont stop having a go at the Lions lack of success...

The Stormers have 6 top players out of contention and you are all crying.

The Lions (who are doing their best to change their fortunes around) have had no less than 15 of their top players ruled out for parts of the season.

I really do feel for them.

They dont have as much depth as the Stormers or Bulls, yet they have more injuries than the 2 sides put together.

When the going gets tough....Bekker gets injured. What a softie. Now he go back to his park bench.

What a softie that guy Bekker. And how stupid the doctor who ruled him out for 5 weeks, when all he had to tell him was to buck up......hey Bloo Too?

The truth is Bekker probably played much of last weeks game in pain and finally had to get medical help. This kind of cheap shot is really low.
