There tends to be abit of deflation after the Christmas escape when people return to the grind of "normal" everyday life as they look forward to another hectic and busy year. What are your suggestions for the best cure for such deflation?

My suggestion is to continue the celebrations even after Christmas to continue the spirit for as long as possible until the New Year celebrations

I am this time of the year always somewhat depressed about the future and am looking forward to the end of the silly season.  Maybe it is the local weather that causes it.   Extra humid and hot - resulting in poor sleeping conditions.

The best Durban months is mid-February through to April - when still hot - without the extra humidity.    That will mean the start of Super 15 as well and I must say that is always a cherry to look forward to.

One great way is to listen to a guy called Joseph Prince a singaporean preacher who for me is the best I have heard on DSTV channel 341 (South Africa). Rejoice in the Lord always by the power of His Spirit.
Alcohol of course is also a depressive so watch that one. Watch your thoughts and tongue. Be thankful. We are all subject to these things at times but can get out of them.
I also find putting KBBs on the right track to be a very rewarding pastime.
Wishing all a very happy 2014.

Bean Brain my friend drop kicked by Jesus through the goal posts of life...i have remixed one of your hymns for you, not sure wether you know the tune?...

....There is a green hill far away called New Zealand Hill, where the Kiwis kicked yr butts and sent you on the run....NZ Hill a good place for you to visit on yr holidays at Slingersfontein Farm near Colesberg for some inspiration and maybe pray for a miracle... like a Springbok win over the ABs...
