In my opinion our best starting 15 is: 15. Willemse 14. Kolbe 13. Am 12. de Allende 11. Arendse 10. Pollard 9. Faf 1. Kitshoff 2. Marx 3. Malherbe 4. Etzebeth 5. RG Snyman 6. Kolisi 7. PSDT 8. Roos Other obvious first choice players include Willie, Mapimpi, Jessie Kriel, Ox, Koch, Nyakane, Bongi, Lood, Mostert, Kwagga and Wiese Of this group the only younger players are Willemse, Arendse, Ox, RG, Wiese and Roos So with an eye on the future we need to be looking to phase out the likes of Willie, Mapimpi, Koch, Nyakane and Mostert soon and over a period the likes of Kolbe, Jessie Kriel, Am, de Allende, Pollard, Faf, Kitshoff, Marx, Bongi, Malherbe, Etzebeth, Lood, Kolisi, Kwagga and PSDT So who do we have that has also featured strongly of late that I’ve not included in my best 15 Moodie, Libbok and Williams So our younger core include Ox, RG, Roos, Wiese, Williams, Libbok, Willemse, Moodie and Arendse - so that’s 9 players What do we have to fill the gaps? The utility value of Moodie and Willemse means it’s a case of working out where best to invest in them. I like the idea of Moodie at 13 and Willemse at 12. So what do we have for the future: 15. 14. Arendse 13. Moodie 12. Willemse 11. 10. Libbok 9. Williams 1. Ox 2. 3. 4. 5. RG Snyman 6. 7. 8. Roos / Wiese To fill in the gaps we have: 15. Fassi / Gelant 14. Arendse……..Green / Edwill vd Merwe 13. Moodie……Jurenzo Julius / Henco v Wyk 12. Willemse…….David Kriel / Hooker / Rickus Pretorious 11. Tambwe / Nkosi / Zas / Davids 10. Libbok……..Masuku / Sacha 9. Williams…….Nohamba / Papier / Jantjies 1. Ox……….Gerhard Steenkamp / Mchunu 2. Dweba / Grobelaar / AH Venter 3. Wilco Louw / Thomas du Toit / Sadie 4. Jason Jenkins / Ruan Vermaak / Moerat 5. RG Snyman………Ruben v Heerden / JF v Heerden 6. Buthelezi / Theunissen / James Venter / JC Pretorious 7. JL du Preez / Elrigh Louw / BJ Dixon / Ruan Venter / Ludwig / Vincent Tsituka 8. Roos / Wiese……..Dan du Preez / Hanekom, Emmanuel Tsituka

I would like to see Roos at 8 abd Du Toit at 7.    That would be a major problem for any opposing international team.   The t wo has ball sense galore.

 Dave

I ee you ahve not factor in Willese in any of the above.  I would pick him ahead of Esterhuizen in 12 especially since Esterhuizenis already 30 years f age and you are loking for youegr payers in your future team selection.
