Dearest ED, I can't use the emotions you have made available to us. They come up as code !
Even worse I cant copy and past emotions for other sites that I skillfully use to underline pertinent points I make that are posted to educate floundering oaks and very ignorant KBBS.
Altogether a sad state of affairs.

Thanks Ed, I've found it more effective to communicate with the likes of Beeno using pictures, emoticons, etc. Unfortunately this does not stop the BS he posts but I guess that's the price of free speech
Beeno, the "cold boot" works so if you have any problems getting the emoticons, etc. to work just use a cold boot & kick yourself until it does. I have full faith in ED's suggestion so please persevere . JW always willing to help the helpless
JW I am not a computer nerd so have no idea what a cold boot is. I do however switch off my machine each night and switch on in the morning. Is a cold boot simply switching your computer off. I trust you are not being unnecessarily obscure JW!!!!!!
Googled what a cold boot is = turn off your computer and reboot. This has not helped!
S orry Beeno, wrong time of the year for a cold boot .... i.e. it is limited to winter only, but seeing New Zealand is so far south, it is more or less always winter there. The same applies for the UK.
Alternatively Beeno, you can simulate a cold boot by putting your machine in the freezer overnight and then reboot the unit. I must however warn you that this procedure worked on my PC, but that is no guarantee that this will work on yours ..... first check with your IT people.
