Big Early Mouth of the Week award
Wee cc is all mouth and no brains.
When last did the Lions lose against another SA team?
They lost to the Sharks, the 30th of June last year.
OK, I should probably have checked, but the Stormers haven't beat them in ages...and they haven't lost many matches in the last 3 years....I'll take and enjoy the win for now.
The Stormers last won February 2015, 12-29, away.
To be beaten at what you do best, that's a big statement. I think the Stormers have the tools to be competitive. I didn't doubt that much, but I would have expected a little more fight from the Lions as well. Complacency? Or merely blown away by a man-for-man superior team?
You can't take always sure Fatlip seriously......he is by the proverbial mile the dumbest and most ignorant poster on site. Beeno and Denny on the same page when it comes to that Fool.
Hey ou Clean Cut, tell us about your claim to immortality, the one about thrashing Demo Salrgnox....Demo who?....ja dat one.
Congrats seem in order for you Province guys.
Haven't seen the game yet but it is recorded for later.
Have you ever met a bigger oxy-moron than the slithering Clean Cut? Don't blink and don't ever turn your back on the Fatlip U-Turner.
I know where 2CC has gone...
Yeah ... to be pipped at the posts by these pussies is embarrassing. We had it all wrapped up and then dropped the ball.
Hopefully that'll be a lesson for us ... play till the final whistle ... and even though the ref did his best to aid you by turning a blind eye, as well as stretching the match to an additional 10 minutes which seemed a little excessive, we still had it in us to stay the course and beat you at home.
You were gifted the match ... so I wouldn't crow to loudly.
The Stormers haven't belonged in the competition for awhile now and needing the ref and his touch crew confirms this.
What can we do ... we have the useless Sun Wolves in the mix ... so why not the Stormers, I guess??
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaaa!!!
Poor Denny ... so desperate for attention ... well, I hope me acknowledging your presence helps you feel a little better about yourself.
See how considerate I am?
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaaa!!!
I've already answered that ... try to keep up will you.
Listen Sucker, if I ever needed attention I wouldn't be looking in your direction.....sorry I take that back, I know you're only kidding.
But jokes aside now.....tell me how you really feel about the Stormers humblng the toothless Lions Hmmmm?
Painful boetie...painful...
"Humbling" ... ?? Nah ... I think a better description of the events that took place would be ... "gifted" ... or "cheated" ... or "robbed" ... definitely not "humbling" ...
The ref gave you that match ... and even that was nearly not enough to secure you the "win" ... let's face it, there wasn't much more he could have done to help you lot ... reducing us to to 14 men ... turning a bind eye to your transgressions ... refusing to penalize you ... lengthening the match by 10 minutes ... I'm actually surprised he didn't dive over himself for a try or two to help out ... it wouldn't of been any more obvious than his bias blowing ...
... does that answer your stupid question ... ??
The Shar ks have played two paluka teams so far ,this weekend the Stormers are gonna win again.
The Shark's strength is their backplay. They have arguably the best centre pairing and wing pairing in South African rugby. Their halfbacks are good enough. However, their scrums and lineouts are a mess. Their work at the breakdown can be messy as well. If they can lay a platform for their backs, they'll probably beat the Stormers, if not they'll stutter. The Stormers have the personnel to expose that soft underbelly.

Sure CC may have been a tad overconfident but as far as recent history goes, this was a huge upset.
Honestly I was dubious about the outcome for two reasons. Jet lag and some of the Lions forwards. The former being the much greater concern.
How many times have we see the Lions best far superior kiwi teams riddled with jet lag the last few years? Too often.
And it's a problem. External factors, outside of home ground advantage, should never play a role in deciding a sports match.
Have your stadium, have your fans and know every blade of grass on your turf and I'll have no complaints.
Create conditions where a team is robbed of the last 30% of their stamina and it's a problem.
The kiwis site easy run conifer news etc as the reason for the Lions reaching the finals so often .
Remove just the jet lag factor and I'm not sure the Lions would have reached even one final.
Taking that into account also brings into perspective some of the kiwi victores here...especially the one in 2017. Poor Kwagga.
It's one of the major issues that I have with SR. Too many results and standings are dictated by the format and by the travel factor.
For confirmation, let's see what happens when the Stormers visit Ellis Park.
Plum poor clown cut was telling everyone that the Mighty Stormers didn't belong looking in the comp! Then his side gets beat by the Stormers. Sidesplitting stuff from the Clown! Hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha
So no the Clown was not just a tad over confident he was way, way over confident! Anyhow thanks Clown for all the merriment!
LMAO!
Don't worry, this only happens once or twice a season . . . let the little dears have their moment in the sun. The Sharks are going to give these soft little nancy-boys a proper pasting next weekend.
Go Sharks!!!
