Vismarck got injured extremely early in the game last Saturday and since it was an off-ball injury - not much was shown on TV about the incident.
I was a bit worried about the issue - and may be barking up the wrong tree. In the semi-final of Super 15 he was brushed aside easily by Etzebeth and was treated for a whie on the field of play. In the final he was rather quiet and not his usual self.
Did he not carry an injury into the Argentine game that got worse in the off-ball incident that led to his injury on Saturday? Unlikely that we would ever know in reality - but what is your opinion on that one.
Let me conclude to say that to lose the best hooker in the world due to injury in teh first matxh of the series and him being out of the End of Year Tour as well - can best be described as a disaster. He is likely to be sidelined for 8 months - he may only be back towards the end of the 2013 Super series. Again - what a disaster.
