After that stamping episode, that really deserved a red, it's hard to see how Bismarck plays in the CC final. We all correctly argued Bismarck's hit on Carter was legal. But his forearm on Messum was not. Nor was today's incident....not by a mile.

What makes this articulate guy who could be a Bok captain were it not for the brain implosions, get off the reservation. It's frustrating and hard to say. But we can't afford another Corne Krige captaining the Boks. The more pressing question is, can we continue to start Bismarck when Strauss is a great player in his own right, and gives us 80 minutes of intelligent play every game

Mozart

Before kicking off that ball - Mozart - has Bismarck being cited for that incident?   Or is it just one of your normal skyscrapers  - hoping he does not play in the final against your beloved WP?

not so clever mike...it looks like recidivist offender baboon bismark has struck again....some dirty yarpies just can't help themselves ....what a liability....tut tut.....and many will think super yarpy is still their best player...

how many teams has he let down now i wonder ?....but don't tell me i already  know it was poite's fault again or whoever the friggin ref was and they should never be able ref another game in their lives.....too funny these yarpies always trying to defend the indefencible...

Well, it is like many of us said when he was red carded (unfairly) in the Ellis Park game. Bismark has to manage his aggression. In that case he had a yellow already and should have had the self control to make sure he didn't get another one.
Seems he has a problem. Shame because he is one of the top hookers in the world.

You would think Bismark would know better by now - that was the height of stupidity

Brycie, do you really think bizzie should should have got a card for the tackle on Carter? Seriously, even Carter said there was nothing wrong with it! Yes or no is all you need reply with.
Having said that, Bizmark is a liability, and although he is a freakishly strong and a brilliant player, his discipline makes him an absolute liability! I'd play Strauss 100% of the time, no questions asked. Bismark is a dirty player and incidents like the elbow in the throat and this weekend foul play in the Currie cup match against the Cheetahs enforce just how dirty and ill disciplined he is.

"Mozart

Let me draw you a picture:

The words we are missing on this string are.....I'll advised, uninformed, bombastic, provocative......and of course the word "apology". But sadly the OOm  just doesn't have enough self confidence to admit that.

Thanks Hakwa we try to entertain and I very much enjoy your material as well. The OOM's? Well yes in a perverse sort of way.....the man is so hilariously illogical.

Mozart

You were talking before there was any citing - and that was my question.  Having had a look at what Bismarck did and a replay of the incident - I do believe that the citing was justified and he should have been red-carded.   No player has the right to deliberately kick and stamp on a player - because that player tackled him hard - while the actual play had already moved on and the two players were clearly away from the scene.

That was stupid of Bismarck and place him in the Nonu league of play.

Okay, we'll said Mike. If I was the ref he would have been off the park....it was unacceptable. Bismarck let down everybody who supported him through his Carter incident.

Hey Hasbeeno, if you're going to mock Brycy for using a big word, the least you can do is spell that word "recidivist" and not "recividist"! A tad slysdexic are we??

Moolaa: lol  .
I am so tempted take a swipe at Beeno you set him up beautifully, lol  He usually does this brilliantly himself - a real talent. So no, I am tempted but it would be too easy and too cruel.
I am glad our friend Beeno can take some hard teasing. He persistently keeps his views (delusional as they are) and also keeps his sense of humor. One of the characters in the forum. So this time I will resist temptation.
To Bismarck, you see self control does work, lol

Gone for the final? Extremely unlikely given the current set of weak SARU and IRB judicary. Women would run these organizations better than these weak willed buffoons and cowards. Shameful and disgraceful.
