I think this incident deserves a review.....was it really necessary for this Bargie to drive through at the knees, seemingly seconds after the ball was gone.

Its odd how this seemingly invulnerable superman was knocked out by Etzebeth  and then seriously hurt by the Bargie. He went off with minimum fuss, but the damage was apparent.

In the flesh these guys look  iron clad, but throw enough mass at enough speed at a vulnerable point and the body has no defences.

What a massive, sad loss. This guy above any ....was our one sure World Team player.

He is out for the rest of the year. Needs surgery for torn ligaments.

The Argies are dirty players - most of the forwards ply their trade in the trenches in France - what should that tell you!

The Argies are no worse than you kiwis when it comesto dirty play - your history is not exactely clean. This incident didnt look dirty or intentful in anyway so not sure where your reasoning comes from?

BDP will be a massive loss to the team. His dynamic and ability to be a 4th loose forwrad will be sorely missed and though Strauss will fill amicably his spot he will be tested in the big games.

On a positive it will give us another option for hooker to gain experience and this may]kes the EOYT even more important for the BOKs to blood more experience.

It just not our year with injuries....what have we done wrong to warrant this from the injury gods hehe

I am horrified by the injury to Bismarck and not overly impressed by Straiuss - two bad line out throws and two cases wher he handled the balls in cases of breeaks  - both ending up with handing over the ball to the Argentitinians.  Non-exitent ball protection was the norm - not the exception.

we are spoiled for choice at hooker in sa....i did think adrian did great when he was selected but he has a chance to prove his worth now. so now the real test will the boks cope with the rucks seeing that bismarck was the "fecther" in the squad....

i must admit this injury is a massive set back. he is out for at least 6 to 8 months. just hope he recovers well

Bissie is a great loss as he adds steel to the pack. When one looks at the match 22 there is too much quality missing. Coenie, Bissie, WP Nel should have been picked, Vermuelen, Schalk and JP. Kan Kan is overseas.

Why is Meyer persisting with Daniel. I would rather have Stander than Daniel. Kolisi is not ready for this level of competition yet.  Josh Strauss would aslo be a better bet.

Jordaan should be in the squad in my opinon.

Mozart

You can ewxpect that type of play from the Pumas - they were later in the game penalized for similar incidents.   However, I hope that Bismarck gets well soon and that he is back early next year for Super 15.

As to the addition of Burden to the squad - it is a joke in bad taste.   Burden is a very average player at best - but then we do not really have aan abundance of hookers.   I would have Fourie ahead of him all the time.

As for the issue of Jordaan I may add that Engelbrecht was given game time on Saturday and did ZILCH on the field.   Give me Jordaan 100% of the time ahead of Engelbrecht.

Was glad to see Vermuelen get a half on the weekend and he look good all things considered. I think it is still to early for him to come back, last thing you want is him to injure himself again.

Schalk and JP were much needed additions to the team.

Stander is off to Munster soon isn't he?

I agree with Kolisi maybe not being ready, but the these 2 games would have been the best time to try him out.

I personally don't think Josh's head in the right place after all the things he has been involved in the last few months. Leading the revolt and having the team slump so badly afterwards and now the "relegation" I sure he must have massive pressure from management and feel accountable to the players.

Jordaan would be a welcome addition.

And while Daniels isn't eactly my first or second choice who do you play? When Spies, KanKan and CJ are off the table.
