Bitter reffing controversy mars Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid

Two Ronaldo goals, one for sure.....came from offside positions....while Lewandowski was called back in a one on one vs the goalkeeper, when he clearly wasn't offside. . And Vidal was double yellow carded, while still shots say it was no foul at all.......leaving BM playing two overtime periods with 10 men. Particularly galling because Casemiro already on a yellow was forgiven a far worse offence. .. It certainly tarnished a superb soccer match with wonderful skill shown by Ronaldo, Robben and Marcelo among others. Robben was brilliant and BM had the best of play before the red card. . This happens far too often in soccer. Rugby has gone too far with incessant video ref incursions. But why not have a video ref able to at least help with goals. When the whole soccer world knows an injustice has occurred the sport loses elevation. . Somewhere between where rugby is with it's video nanny and where soccer is in the dark ages of only goal line help ....is the right answer .......just enough help to ensure a fair result.

Soccer is the most popular sport played around the world and as u stated they still screw up big games with poor calls from the officials.
Time to use the technology and correct the mistakes and also yellow card players for diving.
A great idea suggested was that soccer should follow the rugby system of a sin bin for a yellow card. This will punish the offender and hopefully not the game result.
I was amazed at the officials calls in this game.
Shocking at this level.

A yellow where the player was off for 10 minutes could also limit the cynical fouls which destroy the flow.
