What a win. The Bools played ant rugby for 80 minutes. You had to admire the effort as pods of Bools piled in again and again. But where were the brains, the skills? Olivier was hopeless. Hougaard has regressed. Only in the locks were the Bools really effective....due to Kruger. Spies was a total, absolute non factor.

The Stormers B team hung in there like true warriors. Habana totally dominated his wing. Who could leave him out the Boks. De Jongh tackled Engelbrecht into obilvion....so much so that Kolisi gassed Engelbrecht through the outside gap!!!!!! How now Dave?

Grant was a rock, Elstadt terrific and Kolisi just magnificent.

Given the decimated state of the Stormers team this is one of the great wins.

Magnificent is the only word to use. Young pack lots of injuries etc.

There will be plenty of red faces you know where. weer probeer indeed what happened to the bulle legends! Bwahahahahaahhahaahhahahahaha - those herders must be shattered.

Are we now not also 9 to 6 in super comp wins against the bulle. They showed some stats at the begining of the game.

Moz I take it you missed Spies slap Jean out of the way. Spies had a good game. Kolisi did not gas Engelbrecht, JJ let him slip out of his grasp, was unbalanced. JJ and JP today were far better than Jean and de Jongh. Olivier was good but for those stray passes. Morne was poor. Kolisi was huge, what a player this kid is. Habana was good as was Duvehage.

Hougaard is always a threat. Flip and Jeandre were great. Flip showed again what a good lock he is. Eztebeth was hard as was Elstadt. Dewaldt Potgieter again had a good game as did CJ Stander. Werner Kruger is a worthy back-up to Jannie. Quinn Roux showed why he should have been playing S15 all season

Yeah they were so bloody great they lost to a decimated Stormers team playing in Pretoria  even after being gifted a try.

Decimated? - who Bekker and wee Joe. The only real losses are Bekker and Vermeulen.

Dont tell me you think the Stormers were the better side today?

Pietersen, Kitshoff, Burger, Vermeulen, Bekker just to name a few.

And by the way JJ Engelbrecht lost the game for the Bools.....and you think he was better than de Jongh? Clueless!

One man never loses a game for a side. de Jongh is useless, he does absolutely nothing all game as he has done all season.

Schalk would not make the starting side, not with Kolisi, Vermeulen and Elstadt - all better options. Joe is no better than Aplon. Kitshoff was missed.

I dont think JJ is better than de Jongh, I know he is as does Meyer.......its that simple

I have seen and here amazing things - but your praise of the play of Pietersen is really a joke.  It really is FUNNY HA-HA.    I was watching him carefully today.    He missed numerous tackles and that is one of the main reasons why the Sharks lost today.   e is a wing - any move on his part to center would be a disaster.   I would rather have Engelbrecht - or better still Jordaan as no 13.   By the way - if Jordaan was available today - the score would have been hugely different.

Missed tackles, you need to stick your specs on. JP was good today at 13, always powerful with ball in hand, always getting over the advantage line and with his try he ghosted between the 2 defenders perfectly as a 13 should.

With Taute injured, JP has to start at 13 for the Boks

JP missed tackles or worse still did not even try to tackle players or try and help tackled players to retain the ball - that happened on two occassions where the Sharks were penalized for hanging onto the ball.    There is one position Meyer would not utilize Pietersen for and that is No 13.   He has seen what thousands like myself have seen and he does not like what he saw.

MY ADVICE - GO AND WATCH THE GAME AGAIN AND COME BACK WITH THE REAL STORY.

JP has been missing tackles all season. Nothing new at all. At times he hasn't even been present!
