Thanks - is he a tight-head or a loose-head?

I saw how the Cheetahs destroyed the scrumming of the Sharks and  Bulls and being very firm against the  Stormers but did not recognize the props..  We really need a replacement for Beast in the Springbok team - so I will keep an eye out for that one.

We have Kitshoff to replace Beast, Beast was great but Kitshoff is even better Other good options at loosehead are Thomas du Toit Ox Nche Nqoboka Boan Venter Gerhard Steenkamp Dylan Smith and Pierre Schoeman if Rassie is savy enough to cap him before Scotland do There is also the very impressive 19 year old JJ Wessels at the Bulls

Rassie is wanted to be Director of Rugby and not Head Coach so that he ha more direct links to players coming through the system and ensure progress in their development so that they can become  candidates for Springbok selection.

There is no doubt that Kitshof is the actual replacement of Beast in the team - I was more thinking of replacement in the squad when I mentioned  the Beast's replacement.

Boan is indeed a toughy - but the Cheetahs struggled against Kitshof and Malherbe, but so did the English in the WC and every other team as well.
