Telling the story to Phil Vickery and Scott Quinnell that Kwagga was a serious quadbiker and his dad wanted him to play rugby instead as it was less dangerous. His dad told the rugby coaches that his son had an under developed sense of fear.

So he started playing rugby, got into the Blitzbok side, then started playing 15’s in Japan. The Japanese based players in the Bok squad told Rassie that Kwagga was the best player in the Japanese league and that he should bring him into the Bok setup

The rest is history as they say

Never fails to make an impact when he comes on. He has the ability to single handedly shift the energy of the team.

Kwagga is just a straight-up dawg!

Been a fan of his since day one.

...and one the unsung heroes of the Bok successes.
