Really interesting to know that our official coach, Nienaber will be going off to Leinster straight after the world cup. So far he only has a 60% win record. Other than his defence, don't think we'll miss much with him leaving. No matter the outcome, he will be gone.

Stick and Davids were given extensions until the next world cup. So 4 more years of poor backline play and attack. Don't see how this is performance based.

Rassie, rumours have it that he is heading off to Ireland. There were also talks that he was going to stay on for another 2 years and take the head coach role.

However, I see our junior suffering and all our other teams due to Rassie not acting as a Director of rugby.

For it is dark days ahead. Don't see many other coaches out there that can help SA rugby.

Dobbo is doing well at the Stormers, but it is club rugby and not international rugby.

We had a chance to get Scot Roberts but we are so blind that we only want local coaches.

I don't know what to make of these coaches. I felt great after the All Black game at Twickenham. Our B team beating them by so much. But against Ireland the old habits came back.

Rassie has never won more than 5 games in a row. Now Ireland is on 15 match winning streak and could break the record if they go all the way.

Winning builds confidence. In the Rassie era, confusion

I'll say it again Rassie with his limited gameplan isn't qualified to coach the current talent at his disposal. Can't blame him though he cut his teeth on conservative rugby.

Rassie should stay of course but might not want to.

Lots of affirmative action selections at junior level and women's rugby.

Our backline play has improved markedly. If you can't see that you need a visit to an optometrist.

Yes Corny King you are up and down like a yo yo. If we beat France you will be euphoric, any loss and it's near suicidal. Take your meds oak!

Hakwa you must admire my patience dealing with these guys day after day?

I'm just saying, we lost to Ireland when we should have won.
We keep losing matches.
All that matters is the world cup
We had an opportunity to break Ireland's confidence and he blew it. It was no secret that we lacked a kicker.
If he wins the world cup, all is forgiven. But I'm not happy that we are pretenders and not real world champs.
What is the definition of a world champ for you?
Someone that has the cup or someone that is unbeatable.
Every test should be played with the best team.
We all knew we needed a kicker and we didn't have won. They had 4 years to prepare for this.

If we win this RWC it'll be despite Rassie, not because of him.

I'll be happy to see the back of him.

I’ll be happy to see none of him….the back or the front. Enough of the hee-haw nonsense.

Apparently all the news on Rassie leaving for Ireland is not true according to him….but I am not so sure…..news flash Beeno Biscuits, the Boks played more with there Backline in the Beginning of Tassies tenure…..the reason for that was, because Swys was still there and as you have heard from the man himself, that he was discarded because of his Attack Mindset that did not fit in with Tassies Mindset…nowadays it’s mostly Stampkar. If Rassie does go, will they make Stick or David’s head coach?? With that propect , I would say that Rassie should stay at First until a proper head coach and Attack coach has been put in place, then he can go.

Well, I'm not the only one. Zalim Nel, the editor of SA Rugby mag said out of his own mouth that he is tired of Rassie playing with his food and not fielding the right team or playing to win. He is always experimenting no matter the out come.
I agree this stump car rugby is getting old. So far we lost 2 games this season and it can be a 3rd come France. Last year we lost to Wales, Australia, New Zealand, France and Ireland. Based on that record we should be nowhere near 2nd or 3rd. Last time Ireland was in New Zealand and then won 2 away games in New Zealand. To take a series historic Vicory.
We've managed a draw and one win.
People on here blinded because of the world cup

If we win the WC of course it’s thanks to Rassie it’s certainly not down to any of the other pretenders in the coaching team Rassie is the best coach we have had since readmission Definitely my favourite by a long shot, followed by Mallett and Kitch

I think Rassie has made mistakes this year, but I am not sure their is anyone that is better than him at coaching the Boks.

  1. He sent a team to New Zealand with players that had not played rugby in months.
  2. He selected no pole kicker, and no 3rd hooker for a world cup.
  3. Constant changes to the team. My biggest concern at the moment is why is Rassie not using the world cup group stages to refine his first team, instead of using it as a communal service to give everyone a run.

The Boks can still win, but the planning at this stage does not appear good.

Rassie will know exactly what he is doing, obviously having to make adjustments along the way when faced with injuries The loss of Lood, Marx and Am is huge The gain of Pollard is a plus

Actually if we win the WC it will be because of our rugby DNA and the fact that we have, hands down, the best tight forward talent in the game.

Tight forwards tend to win matches.

As for Harrassmiss since the WC there is no evidence of anything new he has contributed except confusion and controversy,

If that makes me a ‘hater’ (what a Woke term)…so be it.
