Bok offloading under Erasmus

When I pointed out to our argumentative  Oom that Mostert at the Lions was a fine offloader, but that Rassie’s game plan literally discouraged offloading....he flipped. But it’s true. The Bok runners under Erasmus were coached to run ahead as hard as possible, take contact and reset. Offloading was an incidental, not encouraged. Here are the offloading stats for the knockouts 

Japan 12/ Boks 2

Wales 2/ Boks 2

Poms   12/ Boks 4

Those  8 Bok offloads in 3 games ...Frans 1, Willie 2, Marx 1, Am 2, Bongi1, Etzebeth 1

Astonishing 8 offloads vs 26 in 3 games, two of which we dominated. Out offloaded by Japan 12 to 2 while we were crushing them.

Does anybody with half a brain doubt that a team where not one Loosie offloaded in 3 games, is a team that wasn’t coaching offloading.

The corollary is .... ...unless you believe offloading is the devil’s work, a modern abomination....there is still huge upside in the Boks play, incorporating a few more tools in the tool box.

So Erasmus does not allow offloading by players or that is what you said earlier,    I am not even going to bother to check the BS - since you do not even kno w what good passes and off-loads are.  

But those are ESPN stats....presumably they do know. Erasmus discouraged offloading. Snyman is a  prolific offloader......muzzled by Erasmus.

Your claim that Erasmus discourage off-loading is spurious and ridiculous and you cannot prove anything like that - so it is another lie.   

Anyway in a thread about the appointment of Erasmus you clearly preferred Coetzee ahead of him and the moment you became aware that he might be appointed you disgraced yourself constantly and has ever since made t he most ridiculous claims about Erasmus anyway, 

There is one difference between Erasmus and the coaches you found faultless - on Club level Erasmus is made the coach of the Guinness Top 14 coach - your two coaching heroes Meyer and Coetzee got fired by their clubs for gross incompetence, both virtually destroying the clubs they were supposed to coach,

That again show why your prejudice against Erasmus and some players lead to constant lies and distortions by you.        

But I have proven it....in spite of having tons of good ball, the Boks made  less than a third of the offloads of their opponents in the knockouts .Clearly offloading was not a key Bok strategy....ball safety was. 

Now unless you have some proof to the contrary kindly  cut out the feminine histrionics.

Listen dimness - you are making deductions that is factually not proven and that makes it distortions and lies.   In the Squidge report there are numerous examples of off-loads by Pollard and other players - yet you claimed otherwise.

Your claim originally was that clearly that the team was not "coached off-loading".  Now after caught out you claimed  off-loading was not a key Bok strategy,   Still a lie -but differently put.

After the Welsh quarterfinal in 2015 Vermeulen said that Meyer forbid off-loading in games and they were worried about the fact that they could be in trouble after the match because he off-loaded the ball to Du Preez who scored the winning try,  He even stated that they practiced the move without Meyer knowing about it.  That is real and reliable evidence - what you came up with is prejudiced unproven BS as per normal.                          

Comrade ... like it or not, those are the facts. Your genius coach couldn’t even include the most basic of skills in his supposed game plan.  It seems dying with the ball is more in line with his coaching style.

One would think that he’d have used the natural talent of Mostert and Snyman to his advantage. We have all seen the brilliance of these two players in the tight loose. Their ability to offload in contact ... keeping the ball alive ... gaining much needed go-forward ... which if you knew anything about the sport, applies constant pressure on the opposition and keeps them scrambling on the back foot.

It’s what sets these two apart from the rest.

Let’s face it ... a team riddled with quotas and the useless need all the help they can get.

Didn’t you have a lot of negative things to say about both these players? Aaaaaaaaah ... that’s the reason for the hissy fit?

Calling your better a liar without substantiating your argument with a few facts of your own isn’t enough to convince the reader that you have a point. Anyone can do that ... in fact Dumb Fuck Dave is famous for using the same useless tactic. It's what you guys do when you have no comeback.

Produce something of substance to the contrary or shut the fuck up.

What is even more alarming is that Josè Erasmusó's Boks can't put teams away very easily even when they physically dominate. They can have absolute domination up front, yet struggle to create space. The last time we saw that was under Straeuli. A very blunt and one dimensional team. In fact, the only time since Peter that we have lagged behind tier one nations in attack output. 

Listen dofdoos - your idea about rugby is so far out from what really happened - it is unbelievable.  Every sentence you write is total BS.  Why not admit the truth for a change, namely -

*   Meyer was fired by Stade Francais because he was totally incompetent and  destroyed the club - he was well on his way to destroy the Springbok team as well;

*   Coetzee was fired by the Japan club he coached  because he as totally incompetent and nearly destroyed the club - he continued with the demolition of Springbok rugby started by Meyer.

If these two failed totally as coaches on club level - how the hell could they be international coaches?   Fact is they were the worst coaches since 1992,  Straueli was a beaut compared to those two clowns.
