Ok let me throw in my 5c comment regarding ratings:

15) Kirchner - 7/10 - Did nothing wrong but does not have x-factor like a Dagg or Beale we need someone with someone IMO Lambie

14) Habana - 7/10 - Good game sorry to see him left the field

13) JDV - 3/10 - Was he on the field? Maybe it is time for him to make way for a Jordaan, JP Du Plessis?

12) Frans Steyn - 5/10 - He did slot two long range penalties but thats it, kicks far too much ball away

11) Hougaard  - 5/10 - Quiet game

10) Morne Steyn - 4/10 - Drop him now, Goosen looked good

9) Pienaar - 4/10 - Offered nothing - Kicks too much ball away

8) Vermeulen - 6/10 - did nothing wrong but give him chance until he regains full fitness

7) Alberts - 5/10 - Quiet test

6) Coetzee - 5/10 - Needs to move to the bench WE NEED A FETCHER Brussow or even Fourie will do

5) Kruger - 3/10 - Sorry not good enough

4) Etzebeth 7.5/10 - Excellent test provided the aggression that was needed

3) Jannie Dup - 3/10 - Poor

2) Strauss - 5/10 - Average

1) Beast - 2/10 - Poor, Poor Poor, dumb to shoulder Beale off the ball, We need Coenie

Funny enough - I agree with most of the above ratings - Pienaar had a reasonable game and his passing was accurate.   Not a house on fire - but definitely not a 4.   I do believe that Louw is better than Brussow by a proverbial mile.   Would move Coetzee to 8, play Vermeulen at 7 and Louw at 6 in the All Black test.   Maybe Alberts should be moved to lock to replace Kruger in such an event.

Kirchener, Well 7 would be a bit high s the one thing he can do he did well, would like to see someone else there with some more imagination though. He was not average but not that high above average that a 7 is good enough so I'd give him a 6.

Habana, Jean, Frans Hougard Morne Steyn i would agree with.

Pienaar I don't agree. He had a few mishaps, bu he controlled the pace of the game in the first half of the back of the scrum beutifully, slowing it down so we don't need to play at the Ausie Frantic tempo. He also actually creates his own space behind the scrum and doesn't get charged down ala Hougaard. So a 4 is very harsh. I would hive him the Same as Frans Steyn. He was average, but not below average.

Vermeulen had an Average game on debut to be honest, He knocked the ball on a lot. By his own admission he said that the game was a blur to him. I would give him a 5.

Alberts slipped 2 tackles both resulting in tries. apart from that he was not just beow average he wasmediocre. He will get a 3 from me.

Coetzee was our llosie of the match he did well, Did most of the defensive work I would give him an above average 6.

Kruger had a below average test but not as bad as Alberts, I will give him a 4.

Etzebeth was good enough for a 7 from me, but the Headbutt or possible headbutt desrves a loss of one point just because of idiocy. so a 6 from me then.

Jannie Dup deserves his 3

Strauss i will not give a 5 he deserves 4 he really did not have a good game.

Beast deseves his 2 as well maybe a 0 because he was nowhere.

So my Points would be:

15) Kirchner - 6/10

14) Habana - 7/10

13) JDV - 3/10

12) Frans Steyn - 5/10

11) Hougaard  - 5/10

10) Morne Steyn - 4/10

9) Pienaar - 5/10

8) Vermeulen - 5/10

7) Alberts - 3/10

6) Coetzee - 6/10

5) Kruger - 4/10

4) Etzebeth 6/10

3) Jannie Dup - 3/10

2) Strauss - 4/10

1) Beast - 2/10

Not sure if Brussouw is ready yet for the Bok mix. He had a good game against WP this weekend. but it's his first back I would rather give him a few more games to make sure the injuries are gone.
