The MightyFAF remains our most dynamic scrummie along with Papier.

Cape Town - Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk 'knocked out' two opponents in England’s Aviva Premiership this past weekend (WATCH in the video below).

De Klerk, who was playing for Sale Sharks against Wasps, attacked the tryline off a scrum before charging into Wasps halfbacks Dan Robson and Danny Cipriani.

Cipriani was knocked out cold, while Robson also left the field after a few minutes of receiving attention.

Sale claimed a last-gasp 28-27 victory despite De Klerk failing to score from his 'double blow' to the Wasps pair.

Both Robson and Cipriani took to social media the following day to indicate they had recovered:

Rassie are you paying attention!!!!!!!!!!!

Beeno, sadly another SA rugby player who doesn’t know the objective of the game is to score points not knock out players. It seems wee Beeno is also confused on this point.

Faf is a typical South African backline player. He has most of the skills, but his pass is sub-standard. This is non-negotiable for a scrumhalf. Certainly not in the same poor standard as Hougaard.

Beeno

Faf knocked out nobody - he tried to go to score and two defenders went for him five meters out .  Their heads knocked each other and in the process Faf did not score and it was actually a stupid thing to do - ball hogging is always sub-zero when it comes to the stupidity stakes,

Oaks Faf has flair. Always a problem for slow witted supporters. Faf probably getting good coaching overseas.  would have liked o rely on ou maaaikie for an assessment but that would be unwise given his record!

JW missed the skill shown by FAF in getting two guys knocked out!!!

Faf has everything one needs in a scrummie ... except the pass ... and that sadly is a huge issue to overcome.

We need quick feed from the base and at times that means a bullet pass to someone standing a fair distance away. He doesn't have that kind of pass ... and we certainly cannot afford him to run 5 - 10m with the ball before making his pass..

By rights ... he shouldn't make the squad because of that one flaw.

Faf had his chances and did not use those.    Aside from the passing issue raised by CC there are also a problem with his kicking game.   In the end the problem is not only physical but also mental and I think there is a ball sense and decision-making  issue also in evidence,
