A dissapointing season comes to an end for the Bokke and heres my summary by position:

1. After Beast got injured we were in trouble. Greyling was worse then useless & CJ & steenkamp were average.

2. Adrian Strauss did ok in place of Bismarck. Dont know what HM sees in a has-been like Brits when he could have used Craig Burden.

3. Jannie was okay but we have no backup. Cilliers wasnt to bad but W Kruger was rubbish & Coenie is no tighthead.

4. Eben is a good player but is to dirty & is a red card waiting to happen. Dont use him until he sorts out his temperament, rather use Flip who isnt as good but at least doesnt get involved in every fight.

5. Juandre Kruger did a good job of covering for Bekker. No probs.

6. Dont know why the overated donkey Flou took over from Marcell. Marcell is miles better & Heinrich Brussow is next best.

7. Alberts still 1st choice but must work on fitness. Jacpot was rubbish.

8. Spies was injured & then Keegan should have stayed 1st choice. Vermuelen is v overated & also a loose canon.

9. Hougaard is wasted on the wing & Pienaar isnt even second best anymore. Next season should be between Hougaard & Reinach.

10. Tough choice now between Lambie & Goosen. M Steyn was exposed as a talentless donkey this season.

11. Habana came back to his best. No contender here.

12. Big problem position. JdV is past it. Should be out of F Steyn, Lambie & Taute.

13. JdV was v ordinary in this position this season & Juan de Jong is a big improvement. Give Paul Jordaan a shot next year.

14. JPP proved his class on the tour to the UK. Mvovo or Rhule should be backup winger next year.

15. Zane Kirchner was rubbish & I dont know what HM sees in him. Taute, Aplon, F Steyn & Lambie all miles better.

Hope next year we see better selections. HM must dump the oldies, the dead wood & the hot heads!

Jalap

You have a number of very valid points and a number where your ant-Stormers bias got the better of you.

Where did you get that issue from insofar as Etzebeth being dirty from?  He had a week suspension for an alleged head - butting incident, but even the video evidence was not all that convincing.   For the rest he had an absolutely clear record and the bullshit on Saturday he did nothing wrong while being attacked by a POM mob.   I am much more worried about Van der Merwe who on two occassions pick up yellow cards within minutes after coming of the bench.   If there is a donkey - he is one.

You are talking absolute rubbish about Louw - he is better than either Coetzee and Brussow should not even be mentioned - rhe latter played rubbish this year and was completely out of depth with the new rules in place.   Louw had a very huge performance year in tests and is now helping in getting some deficiencies in the performance of Coetzee sorted out.

Vermeulen - wrong again as you apaprently are biased again.  Accept it that Vermeulen is the top selection with Kankowski on the bench.   Shoow pony Spies never play a full game at 8 - loafs around 75% of the time.  Should never have moved from wing to number 8.   After all he is built like Tarzan and play like Jane.

There were serious deficiencies in the Hougaard game this year - which proved to be virtually impossible to sort out.   Mattfield admitted that and said they are going to get expert advice to try and sort it out.   I believe there is not a single poster that would not like to see it happening and we all would prefer him at 9 next year.

The center positions are really messy.  Francois Steyn before injury was disappointing - De Villiers is to my mind past it and Olivier is too one-dimentional.   De Jongh is a joke in bad taste and Taute (perhaps realising his inadequacies in that position) now wants to continue his career at full back.   I believe that the cneter position selections would be based on player performances in Super 15 next year.

Wants the bombastic answer?   Because I am clever with a high IQ  - so go play with your balls - since you cannot discuss rugby matters objectively.

Its just a question, "clever" mike.

LOL!

I see u have gone a bit quiet on the funniest thread ever. Did u work out who was turning it into a typing class?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

Mike I'm guessing this whole thread is the Fruit's attempt to establish himself as a poster of substance. I accused him of only being on here to stir,  and whoops, the very next day he posts this attempt. Some might say there's nothing original here at all. But hey, give the guy credit for trying. At least he is responding to criticism.

As for his picking on "Clever Mike" all of a sudden, after missing it for months, who knows how it finally penetrated.

I always bang the same drum, but my saying that we should focus on rugby and not other rubbish like name calling, character assassination etc etc, seems to fall on deaf ears, so I guess I'll just climb onto the band wagon. Jalapeno DOES just stir, if you haven't figured that out  yet, then you are not particularly gifted! If you don't like it, ignore it, otherwise just give him tongue in cheek answers and beat him at his own game. CleverMike, anyone who has to advertise that they are clever, probably isn't! And if they really are, then they probably have a monstrous inferiority complex which compels them to remind everyone of their intelligence. Either way, probably a pretty sad individual that cries while they masturbate.....alone! And Moz, your anti-Saffexness (amongst others), carrying on about his weight, age, moustache shape and other equally rugby related insults, are a sign of your classy upbringing.

Wow, this is actually quite fun....stuff it, I will also not talk about rugby anymore, this is waaaay more stimulating!

Ps....I am saying all this tongue in cheek, I remind you of this in case I happen to shatter some poor persons fragile self image.

Bluebok

All my previous names I used on site was not usable anymore - so I chose tongue-in-cheek the name clevermike.   My answer to Jalap was a rubbishly one to silence the idiot - but apparently it failed and gave myself a bad name.   Sorry - you read the situation totally wrong.

Thanks for the advice on masturbation - at my age any form of sex can be a major ordeal.   It is like the scrummaging of Van der Linde - pap and uninspiring.   Cannot get the bloody thing hard - despite all the vitamin tablets I use.   Will viagra help?   Anything would be better than the present situation.

"Clever" Mike, I see u have been quite active since last nights exchanges but I cant help notice u have been very quiet on this thread.

I just want to know 2 things, firstly did u take my advice and read through the thread to see who complained about typos?

If so, would you agree that this comment of yours:

Jalap

For your information - this is a rugby forum, not a typing class, dumb bunny

....... should have been directed at Moffie rather than me?

That's all. Awaiting yr answers. Thanks.

Jalap

Sorry about the wrong accusation - sincere apologies.   I really don't like the non-rugby stuff on this site - especially not personal insults and things like that - that was why I got carried away in this case.

Well I appreciate the honesty even if u dodged the question for as long as possible.

So basically thats a "yes" ........ we can confirm that u meant to call Moffie a "dumb bunny" for trying to turn a rugby forum into a typing class and not me? Okay. That's all sorted then.

CleverM, good answer, I assumed you'd get all touchy and have a go at me, instead laid the facts out and pretty much put the whole thing to rest.....with the exception of one or two questions about your sexual endevours. :)
