Saffex

Really - you must be kidding.   Vermaak ahead of Reinach -  Rhodes ahead of Coetzee or Labuschagne -  Chlliboi better than Strauss - really poor interpretation of performances.  Despite all the comtroversy around Lambie's style of play - he was still better than Catrakillis.   Lambie was up against the supposedly strong Stormers - Catrakillis against one of the weakest teams in Super 15.

As for Serfontein - I rate him highly - but on his performance on Saturday De Villiers (one of your pet hates) was better.

Serfontain was better than De Villiers, he shined against a better center pairing and was critical to almost every Bulls attack.

Have to agree with Mike iro Jean De Villiers, he played with great conviction and had one of his best performances this year. Beginning to look like the centre he was at the peak of his career.

Reinach also had a blinder and in my veiw was the pick of SA scrummies this week

I agree with Saffex here, Rhodes was far better than Coetzee. The latter almost never gets over the gain line anymore and tries to spin everytime he has the ball, whats up with that anyway. Frans ahead of Pietersen??

Bok-Bef

I normally when hessitating aboutr issue have a look at the player stats on ESPN scrum and in all fairness are providing same here in respect of the Rhodes selection:-

Rhodes 0/0 0 1/3/5 35 1 1 0 0 10/3 1/0 1 0/0 Coetzee 0/0 0 0/4/9 7 0 1 1 1 11/1 0/0 0 0/0 Labuschagne 0/0 0 0/0/3 43 2 0 0 0 12/1 6/0 1 0/0

Based on the above - I agree with you about the Rhodes - Coetzee issue.   However th stats indicate that Labuschagne was definitely better than Rhodes if the following is taken into account:-

   *    Rhodes made 5 runs with ball in hand  gaining 35 meters - ie average of 7 meters per run against Labuschagne's 3 runs gaining 43 meters - ie average gain of 14,3 meters per run.

   *    Ball in hand Rhodes made 1 line break beating on defender - whilst Labuschagne made 2 line breaks.

   *    Rhodes made 10 tackles - missing 3 - against the 12 tackles missing 1 by Labuschagne

   *    Rhodes took one line out on own throw - aginst 6 taken by Labuschagne on own throw.

There is not a single aspect listed above where Labuschagne was not better than Rhodes.

Incidentally the above was confirmed  by the   Foxsport stats allocating 26 points to Labuschagne and 22 points to Rhodes - as well as the Test Rugby site who gave Labuschagne 225 points against the 175 for Rhodes.

I was just kidding in this case in any event.  Coetzee was playing at 6 and that cuts him out from selection at 7- which incidentally is his better position.

Saffex - will do his ordinary and says the stats is not in context - so I expect another generalized outburst from him.

Mozart says "Balls"

I agree with Mozart Safex is delusional or "vannie hael gebliksem" - (struck by hail on the head)

Safex Team:  15. Frans 14. JP 13. JJ Engelbrecht 12. Serfontein 11. Rhule 10. Catrakillis 9. Vermaak 1. Kitshoff 2. Chiliboy 3. Malherbe 4. Steph du Toit 5. Bekker 6. Kolisi 7. Rhodes 8. Vermeulen

Frans?  Really that fatslow underachieving oak?

Rhule - Hahahaha  & Vermaak?  No man please.  Serfontein is nor bad but who will be the captain of this delusional team?  Chilli? And he is better than Stauss... Okayyyy if you say so.

Rhodes - why not Wimpie, he played like a deamon on the tour - and then @ 8 why not Enhelbrecht.

But Vermaak is injured after just one good game.  In the previous two for the Bulls he sucked bigtime, nê so one good game makes a player a Bok?  Meyer is useless but thank the Lord for small mercies - you could have been the Bok coach..Hahahahahaha You and your silly plans make this a humouristic site..

Yes Mike, Vermaak was better than Reinach. While he has been poor all season he was good for the Bulls winning MOM. Reinach had a good game.

Rhodes had a great game and easily better than Coetzee and Labascagne. Strauss was good as always but Chiliboy was better.

Catrakillis was better than Lambie and Serfontein was better than Jean.

Saffex

Why generalize - give me two good reasons why Rhodes was better than Labuschagne based on facts, not your imagination.  I do believe that the same applies to Reinach, De Villiers and Strauss.

In any event - do you realize that -

  *     Labuschagne is rated as the top loose forwardl and

  *     Reinach is the second highest rated Scrummie in Super 15 by Foxsport this year - with vernmaak only at no 11 position.

Yhose ratings are -performance based.   All three the above players mentioned by me was based on actual performances better than Vermaak, Serfontein and Ralepelle?  Sorry - but you base your interpretation not on actual performance - but on what you imagine the performances in fact were - normally based on one occurence during a full 80 minutes game.  .

Look Mike you stupid prick, what has imagination got to do with my selection of Rhodes. I know you are a thick shit, but wake up man.

Labascagne is a class player, who did very little of note last weekend. Rhodes on the otherhand, was powerful with ball in hand and in the tackle. He also made a vital turnover or two.

Get this into your plank of a brain, just because you love Labascagne does not mean he is the best 7 each week. Rhodes was better end of
