Given form and injuries, my Bok side if we were playing a test tomorrow would be:

15. Taute

14. Mvovo

13. JP

12. Frans

11. Habana

10. Goosen

9. Hougaard

1. Coenie

2. Bismark

3. Malherbe

4. Etzebeth

5. Bekker

6. Brussouw

7. Vermeulen

8. Spies

16. Duvenhage

17. Jantjies

18. Whitehead

19. Kitshoff

20. Chiliboy

21. Flip

22. Coetzee

Hey Maan, what you smoke maan?

All in all not too a bad side, but not a bok side by a country mile. Most of the guys can have a look at the side when needed, but to pick a complete new Bok side now is pure folley. This lot of greenhorns will loose to the Scotts and Italy, never mind England.

Draad, let me guess you would pick all the players who are past their sell by date no doubt?

I would start bleeding younsters from the word go, but one, maybe 2 at a time. To start a bunch of greenhorns and call them boks would be stupid. There is a proven track for experience and rightly so. To pick youngsters just for the sake of it is not prudent. You do have a bit of experience in your mix as well, so lets not fight over it. I  have seen a lot worse teams.

Well, if Lambie and Beast were fit they would be in my side. Schalk would push for a spot as well. For the rest, the youngsters are better options than those that played in the last Bok test. Etzebteh is a must, as is Goosen. We need to move on from Jannie at 3. Malherbe has impressed me and I'd like to see more of Coenie develop at 3.

Let's face facts here, that team of yours Saffex are the guys who are in form at the moment in this Super competetion, but are never going to be anywhere near what the Bok team is going to look like. With Meyer in charge and the gameplan he will stick to, it will likely come from:

1. Beast

2. Bismarck

3. Jannie

4. Bakkies

5. Andries

6. Heinrich

7. Schalk

8. Spies (Captain)

9. Fourie DP

10. Morne

11. Habana

12. Frans

13. Jacque Fourie

14. Hougaard

15. Lambie

16. Chilliboy

17. Coenie

18. Etzebeth

19. Willem Alberts

20. Goosen

21. Juan DJ

22. JP Pieterson

This is probably what the Bok team will look like and the gameplan is gonna be the old donder, skop en jaag!! Now this is quite a good team, but can they play a modern 'hold onto the ball' game??

Agreed green, Meyer will take the conservative approach to start with and then hopefully bring in the new kids who are better than the old boys who have past their best. JP will be on the wing in that side

I agree Heynecke will most likely take th conservative approach. I think Green is close to the team, however don't think spies will be captain, Fourie Du Preez will be Captain. There might be a few differences to the team that Green is proposing however I don't think much.
