I don’t know what to make of this team?

I’m happy with the back line and Pimps get another crack.

It is more the pack that I’m not sure about.

Mostert at 7? Orie selected yet again? At least Kleyn is starting.

Du Preez gets a token bench spot and probably get 2 min.

Wiese gets a run ahead of Roos.

Trevvvva, now at loosehead again. 34, is he a tighthead or a loosehead?

Good to see Gerhard on the bench but why Trevvvaaa over him.

Would love to see steenkamp with du Toit.

Anyway, Tostert and Orie in that pack. Treva at loosehead and wee Fourie at 6. 4 very week players. Two in the tight five.

Will be a long day at the office for these guys.

No Hendrikse, wonder if he’ll get on the plane.

Can Thomas the Tank function as a test level tighthead? Perhaps we will get the answer on Saturday….better find out now rather than at the WC.

This is the time to get more certainty about who is worthy and who is not.

It's not a bad side and must show they are up to it. Orie again looks to be the weakest link.

Reinach tends to loaf and has a poor work ethic. Like to see him much more dynamic.

It's the closest thing to a full-strength backline in a while. It's at least something resembling a test quality loose trio. I expect this team to win, and to perform with more energy.

The selection makes little sense for if it was the players getting a last chance to push for WC selection then Am would not be starting at 13, Kriel would again. Same can be said of Bongi starting Why Bongi over Am as captain? Good to see Thomas at 3 where he has been for the Sharks for the past few seasons but the poor lad has Mostert, Orie and Fourie in the pack with him - he has fuck all chance One positive is Gerhard Steenkamp on the bench which means he gets his well deserved cap Surely they know what average Mostert has to offer at 7 so why not start the far better equipped JL du Preez at 7 They know what they have in Wiese so why not start Roos at 8. Given the pack selected I expect the Argies to win this. You can’t win a test match with insults like Orie and Mostert in the same pack Rassie is fast losing the plot - my faith gets thinner by the week Idiots

Ja, they should have organised more A games to test these players, not a test match!!!

New Zealand have only changed a max of 5 players per game and have played the same pack throughout.

More than 5 changes fucks up your continuity.

Now Willemse is popping at 15. Well at least he is not at 10.

But to be honest, not a bad back 3. Would like to see Arendse to see how well they combine

Well, they will be announcing the World Cup squad on 8 August, so there won't be any time or matches left to figure out who will go to the World Cup. Right now it looks like Orie has the inside track. Lood was limp against the AB and maybe Japan has made him soft and unfit.

Then, they have brought in Jean Kleyn and RG back. So do have a lot stock at lock. The question is just who should be picked. Don't forget Tostert who is being used at 7. I think we might see Orie in the squad and likes of Lood and Klein might miss out.

If the boks lose on Saturday, Kleyn will definitely be gone
