Springbok team to face Scotland: Willie le Roux, Jesse Kriel, Lukhanyo Am, Damian de Allende, Makazole Mapimpi; Elton Jantjies, Herschel Jantjies; Duane Vermeulen, Kwagga Smith, Siya Kolisi (captain), Lood de Jager, Eben Etzebeth, Trevor Nyakane, Bongi Mbonambi, Ox Nche. Reserves: Steven Kitshoff, Malcolm Marx, Vincent Koch, Franco Mostert, Jasper Wiese, Cobus Reinach, Handre Pollard, Frans Steyn. I happy to see Elton gets a start....Willie back and Kriel gets another chance.

The utterly useless Jessica Kriel has been retained. How can anyone in their right mind persist with the average Kriel.

He is not a wing; he barely has a step- and his pace is nowhere near good enough. Kriel is just the latest creatine junkie off the conveyer belt. Bulk but no brains.

Kriel has a great step and good enough speed - he is a great outside centre but was crap on the wing in the rain Fassi should have replaced him

I would rather stick with AM at 13, and perhaps convert Nkosi as a backup utility player that can also cover outside centre.

Jessie Kriel has had lots of Bok tests, at best he has been solid. He was a buffoon on the wing last weekend.

Fassi would have been the right choice. But ja only Nienaber will no the meaning of this choice....he really makes it difficult for supporters to understand his thinking. Building sufficient player depth, poor selection, 1 dimensional game-plan, desperate grinding style of Rugby ( which Is very taxing on forward player health ) no real backline attack play. You don’t have to be a Rugby Genius to spot these things, just look at the games. One thing I do know is that nobody on this Forum, can really be blamed for not showing support to him & Rassie.

It’s pretty simple….Nienaber has no real confidence in Fassi….so Kriel stays, but Willie starts to help the back three. Smart to bring Willie back.

Next our 10/12/13 axis is stagnating. Pollard is stale. Give Jantjies a go but Pollard is available. Pair Jantjies with Jantjies to keep the commentators confused.

No need to change the forwards they have dominated feeding the useless backs Rolls Royce ball. But Lomp is tired after playing 50 minutes. Give him a rest on the bench and gain the benefit of Mostert’s vastly greater output.

Make sense?

Mostert is a physical liability so there is no positive in his selection - I’m guessing it’s a token selection given it’s his 50th cap as it is Kriel’s

Creatine junkie? He retains water? Has an abundant store of adenosine triphosphate? Really, with one of the most used supplements in the history of the universe. Anyway, Willie is the biggest improvement. His range of kicking will be important. I'm not sold on this front row. Probably the strongest bench we've had in a long while.

Kwagga should be 6, Wiese can occupy 7. That would be a much improved loose trio. Kwotalisi is not pulling his weight.

Kolisi MOM? MIA more like. Frans. Kwagga. Ende.

Kolisi will never be that player. No South African can reach the level of quota of Kwotalisi. No leadership and the least useful player on the field.

It’s not about game changing contributions you idiot it’s about an all round outstanding performance Great carries with ball in hand and many big hits including a try saving tackle How about that being game changing you ignorant twit Kolisi is a class act - our best loosie at the moment

It's not about contributing to the result, it's about "all round outstanding performance". I didn't know the two could be separate from one another. Thanks coach.

Best loosie!

The Kindergarten Imbecile talks about all-round performances when using 10 or 11 players and he backline is not usable.    He claimed that there were all-round performances under Meyer - when the latter said the Springboks backline lacks the skills to play a ball-in=hand game.

So he does not know aht all-round performance means,

By the way something is seriously remiss with Pollard.  He has gone massively backwards since his leg injury and he yet has to put in a decent performance in tests this year.
