So nr. 2 must be a black player or what?? How can you not start Marx if
not some other alternative motive is in play? Smells fishy to me....
Nothing fishy in it. SA rugby has been trying to make it by manupulating the usual flow in a rugby game. They went counter side. It worked for some time.
Swimming against the stream usually is a short lived strategy. It relies on others swimming along the stream and not bothering to consider tweaking their approach.
So far, two teams tweaked successfully their approach.
EN, as they opted for a very strong early game to then fall back to manage the rest of the game.
WA, as they opted to soak the first part of a game to fire up during the very late game. This was a close shave for the first game and a success for the second game.
NZ went for a mixed approach, when they did not swim against the tide, they somehow stopped swimming most of the times to swim by moments.
Which means in all cases an emergency case for SA rugby as their strategy no longer works.
As usual, delusion reigns supreme among SA rugby supporters. All the other teams are used to a normal flow during a game.
All the other teams would welcome SA rugby returning to the usual. They are already better when SA rugby gives themselves an advantage by manipulating the flow of the game.
It will turn easier when SA rugby give up on their specific approach to fall back on a normal game flow.
