Fucking Joke of a team. Our best 15, Willie Le Roux gets axed. Bringing back Old Man Frans and Elton. This coaching team just don't want to win any games. Hell bend on poor selections.

Dweba is back starting, Ox is starting again. No lessons learned, just the same old stale tactics and selections. Time for a coaching refresh.

Well Korn ... you sound surprised!

They selected a laughable squad and sadly had to put a match 23 together using these bozos.

The only positive I see is that they went with a 5 - 3 split.

Gooooooooooooooo Wallabies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a Joke.....absolute Mockery is made of SA Rugby, R&N is not thinking straight....Dweba is not starting quality??? And ox instead of Kitshoff ?? DDA is not performing and Vermeulen is done but still persisting with him?? Old man Frans haaaaaahaahaha..... This is a lost cause with R&N....and if we  scrape by,   then all is well again and nothing will be changed.....it sounds bad, but I hope we loose so necessary change can come...shit for brains coaching staff!!

Not sure that I want to wake up early to watch this rubble play.

We are 14 months away from the world cup with less than 10 games remaining and we select this bunch of has been players.

Steyn and Vermeulen story has ended, time to move on gracefully rather than playing one too many test like Habana did under Coetzee. Some players know when to call it a day and some dont

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, Korn ... but ... Vermeulen, Frans Steyn, Elton Jantjies, Kolisi, De Lindy and Dweeb are all part of next years WC squad.

Agree on Matfield Safex, legend but the problem was that senior players almost take over from the coach. Happened under Pieter De Villiers with John Smit when we had Bismarck sitting on the bench. He then got shifted to prop. He was a solid player and great that he could double up as a prop but there was no reason for him to start. It was purely his ego and his presence. Not his skill or ability to be the fraction each team needs

Agree with the above postings.

Springbok rugby needs top managers asap.

These guys or so called managers at the top are a joke at best.

Unfortunately we are going to be saddled with up to the WC.

No plan and no common sense at all.

Shocking.

It's a funny world 2 weeks ago we were shit and boks top of the world then all of a sudden we have swapped places after one game.

You have a way to go though to match the shit we have been delivering

Ja Crusaderfan, ABs are still shit. They had one of those rare games where things went their way, the risk paid off and they were able to capitalise on poor bok mistakes.

That said, we saw what the difference are with 3 players that are not the best or in form. There are no room for passengers

Crusty your team beat the Boks due to incompetent coaches in charge of the Boks.

Bad selections for that test and yet they still have not discovered their poor selections as with the announcement of  almost the same starting team.

Not knocking the AB's as they deserved the win with their play in that test.

But I fear that the Springboks are going to produce yet another poor performance.

Hey I agree whole heartedly, said in another post we were better but then the boks helped us with crap selections .

We are a long way from being at our best. Your lot are still ahead of us even with a shit coach like us

Not having Willie Leroux in the match-day squad is senseless. We need to get more expansive in the 2nd half if we are chasing the game.

I guarantee you Erasnaber has concluded the Boks should have won the second test….that we had clawed into the lead and then two poorly directed box kicks sunk us. So Hendricks is dropped to the bench and Jantjies is in outer darkness.

All this hand wringing and Erasnaber isn’t worried….she’ll be right mate.

So nr. 2 must be a black player or what?? How can you not start Marx if not some other alternative motive is in play? Smells fishy to me.....R&N is daft, but this is going to far, beyond what Rassie would do or choose?....how else can you explain this....so called top notch coaches not picking inform Players??? BS either way

100% Test rugby coaches would select Marx as a starter and probably play him the whole game unless injured or exhausted.

It must be strategic transformation objective to have two black players in the starting front row.

Simple these Springbok selectors/roaches have been bought by the ANC government/SARB and are shit scared of being terminated if they do not follow the colour code mandate.

For no other reason they are owned by their own greed and job protection, have no backbone to stand up for what is legal and fielding the best team on merit selections irrespective of colour.

30 years down the road and we are still applying discrimination principles to select sports teams.

Boycott the games is all that is left to do.

DO IT or watch second tier players.

The choice is ours.

Well that can explain the team Selection for up front atleast, what about Thor 2.0 and Frans, instead of Willie??? That's on Rassie & Co.

Ja, Rassie is a brilliant mind and knows how to play knock out rugby or get a team to a certain level. Same pattern at the stormers and Munster, get the teams in the top  4 but they never seem to go onto greatness.

Love or hate Meyer but he built that bulls team and those players that led to 3 Super rugby titles. It is okay to win once, but to do it consistently is another level completely.

With the time Rassie has had we’re more then any other springbok coach, yet they keep failing when it counts. No test match should be devalued.

My only thinking is whether they are using the Aus tour to see if Thor and Steyn still have anything left or if this is their final swan song .

We can only tell at the end of the year where things stand

So nr. 2 must be a black player or what?? How can you not start Marx if not some other alternative motive is in play? Smells fishy to me....

Nothing fishy in it. SA rugby has been trying to make it by manupulating the usual flow in a rugby game. They went counter side. It worked for some time.

Swimming against the stream usually is a short lived strategy. It relies on others swimming along the stream and not bothering to consider tweaking their approach.

So far, two teams tweaked successfully their approach.

EN, as they opted for a very strong early game to then fall back to manage the rest of the game.

WA, as they opted to soak the first part of a game to fire up during the very late game. This was a close shave for the first game and a success for the second game.

NZ went for a mixed approach, when they did not swim against the tide, they somehow stopped swimming most of the times to swim by moments.

Which means in all cases an emergency case for SA rugby as their strategy no longer works.

As usual, delusion reigns supreme among SA rugby supporters. All the other teams are used to a normal flow during a game.

All the other teams would welcome SA rugby returning to the usual. They are already better when SA rugby gives themselves an advantage by manipulating the flow of the game.

It will turn easier when SA rugby give up on their specific approach to fall back on a normal game flow.

All the other teams have their own hookers to play with.

As to playing a forward player for a whole game, welcome to gear paradise moving from gear land.
