Boks a huge imrpvement on 20154 and

I think that the damage done to backline play by Meyer and Coetzee insofar as backline play is being eliminated and the work one by Venter and Smith is beginning to bear fruit.    No more BS comments like Meyer's one on the lack of skills that eliminates backline play by the Springboks. 
However, I think that there is a definite improvement on the last two years - but I also think that there are improvements that can still be made.  
Full back
Coetzee is a hardworking and clever player.   No problem there.
Wings 
I am still unhappy with the defense ability of the wings and will replace Rhule with Combrinck.   Not sure about Skosan - but we need further evidence that he is suitable on the wing.   He has pace - but is that all that is required in this case.   Leyds is also a defense liability
Centers
Mapoe is harmless and I think it is time to accept that Steyn is in Plumtree's words "not a center at all".   Both Serfontein and Kriel have shown substantial  improvement in the last two games - but I think that the center  combination can be improved  by considering Vorster, Van Rensburg and De Alllende ahead of the two mentioned.
Half backs  Jantjies did very well under new management and I think that Pollard will also improve if he is drawn in and not forced to play the seriously deficient donkey kick-ball game only and receive proper coaching.
I think that Cronje was an improvement on the previous scrummies and he remains to my mind a certain selection.
Loosies
I would  also forget about Mohoje.   If we want to persist with Mostert as a lock - a more physical 7 is required and I think Du Preez is my first choice blindisder.
Locks

Props
I would start with Kitshoff and put Beast on the bench.
Hookers
Mbonambi is a joke and that is exemplified by his first line-out throw-in when he came on from the bench.   I would think that either Akker van der Merwe or Franco Marais would be a huge improvement.

Mike, Mostert has been our best lock in both tests now.
For my money that kids heart sits at the centre of our defensive efforts. Long may he be a Bok. The guy is a warrior. He is proof that that there is always work to be found on the field whether the ball comes your way or not.
There is no "persisting" with him. His is one of the first names on the sheet.
Agreed though, Du Preez should be starting

 You may have misinterpreted my comments on the locks.   Maybe the word "persists" is the problem.   The better word would have been "continue ".   I agree that the lock combination should remain though.

 Well don Boks, this was a great stepping stone. To beat a French side away from home, a side who ended 2/3 tie in the 6N does not make our season.Lots of positives but lets keep our feet on ground till after the OZ and NZ games.
