Boks Departure to Buenos Aires

Rassie always seems to break with convention. It all started with the disco lights on the stadium roof. Recent ideas are the Boks having an A-team for away games traveling in advance, with a B-team to make use of the home ground advantage. 

Now Rassie has trained in New Zealand instead of returning to SA. 

In doing so, Rassie has cut the travel time in half and allowed the players time more time to train, and less jet lag. Unconventional - but perhaps a good strategy to cut down travel time. 

--  The travel is 11 hours from Auckland to Buenos Aires. 

--  It is 22 hours from Durban to Buenos Aires. 

Rassie at the airport... 

Lets hope he puts it to good use. 

I'm familiar with their ways. 

No doubt about Rassie is quite a few steps ahead of some oaks here. 

Anyone remember how the wise Saiges here condemned Rassie's splitting up the squad.

Anyhow the kbbs may be dumb but are mostly a jolly bunch of rascals.

Fancy figuring out that by staying in NZ this week instead of going back to SA, it would save travel time and the consequent jet lag.

moo, I am 100% sure Beeno can spell Sage, but won't say how I know, but you are right, Rassie's decision to stay the week in NZ wasn't rocket science .

Hansen always was a good coach with great talent to use.   In the past decade he was lucky to deal with incompetents  coaching the Springboks and outsmarting them totally..  I clearly remember his comments made before the one and only match the AB's lost against the Springboks in Johannesburg in 2014:-

"We know exactly what to expect from (Morne) Steyn, but do not know what Pollard will produce",

A very wise observation since Pollard personally score two tries om that game.   Anyway I think the AB's are correct about Erasmus - a smart coach whose small finger  knows more about rugby than Meyer and Coetzee's combined knowledge of the game.   

You see how the Idiot Speakers constant attacks on Erasmus distort the situation completely and long strings of disinformation is spouted by them.  Very foolish but to be expected from them.

Splitting the squad and sending 14 odd players to Nz proved to be a bold and good decision dispite what the sages thought.

Staying in nz, might have entailed wearing a peg on noze and was not of course rocket science - but didn't need to be to be many steps ahead of the Rassie critics who are finding their stance on Rassie ever more problematic. 

Stick with Beeno, Mallet and Mike on this one. Avoid the EGG. Don't be an EGG magnet like rooibozo. 

The same Pollard Lügnerin attempted to throw under the bus to defend Damian in 2015. That, whilst slandering Pakie. He has no shame.
