Does this leave room for F. Steyn?

 Even the dumbass Coetzee has rejected the feeble and talentless Steyns.
Glad to see both Fats and Morne on the rubbish dump.
It's where they belong.


 

'The feeble and talentless Steyn'....who beat Oz. Another cowardly act by the coach who is pleasing everyone he can to offset his record. Morne is not popular, so he has to go.......the pathetic level South Africans function at these days more or less guarantees failure.

Are you nuts?   Steyn is pathetic in both defense and attack - he is a liability with his aimless and ineffective kicking game leading to constant possession handovers.  
Why do you think he is routinely the bench flyhalf for Stade Francais?   Surely because he is too poor to start for them.
Other than his kicking  at goal - he really has no other assets as a flyhalf.    

Oh sure who did Rugby 24 rate as our gest back against Oz. Dont take my word, take theirs...Morne Steyn: .Morne Steyn: 7 Still prefers to play predominantly in the pocket, and that doesn’t help any quest for oomph on his outside. But what you see is what you get: the pivot played very spiritedly to his known strengths and was vintage Cool Hand Luke in his kicking (including two drops) at the posts. Some staunch tackles.

 So who will score all your points now ? 

Points dont matter WD. These two fools Cabuncle and Tokkie have been calling for the Boks to lose for years. All that matters is that we select guys who perform in our local competitions. Totally parochial. That strategy was tried against Ireland where we picked heavily from the Lions.....we almost lost against a diminished Irish team. Now we are supposed to sprinkle in a few Cheetahs.

 Lunacy is a problem on this site.   When a lunatic advertise that the only way to win matches is kicking at goal and the scoring of tires is immaterial then we deserve what we got.  
A cool head that hand over ball possession by aimless kicking is his requirement to play at flyhalf is not viewed as wrong on the part of the twat - who knows nothing about rugby.   .     

 Mozart, tell us exactly what it is that Morne "skop alles f0kkin weg" Steyn brings to the mix.
Be specific ... or is this your cue to do the deep dive once again?
Whether you like to admit it or not, Morne played a major role in our record defeat against the All Blacks ... hence his axing.
Nothing to do with popularity. 

 Mozart - answer another three questions please:-
*   How De Jongh manage to organize the back line defense and missed 30% of his own tackles in that tests?
*   How you explain the poor tackle attempt of Goosen on Kerevi - when in fact it was a try-saving tackle - please explain or apologize for a lie?
*   How Morne and De Jongh did in defense in the AB test lost by a record margin?      

Actually he never played a major role in the AB loss. We never had enough ball for him to strangle the territorial life out of the ABs....the way he did the Wobs. Blame handling mistakes, penalties and ineffective tackling that never forced change of possession kicking. Do try to look beyond the obvious.

Look at the obvious and you would find what is wrong with Morne Steyn.    The obvious will prove again that he is a seriously-deficient flyhalf - only the blind will not see that and you prefer not to see it and find theoretical excuses for an atrocious performance.

Exactly the same number of times Barrett kicked the ball. Morne never had the ball a whole lot, 21 times vs 65 for Barrett. And many of those times he was pinned deep in his half where clearing his line was key. Naive stuff.

 Ok ... so my request to you for specifics regarding the "genius" of Morne has been ignored ... once again. 
Is that cause you can't come up with any? Thought so. 
Instead all we see are feeble excuses blaming others for his short comings.
"It's not Morne's fault. It's Jaco Kriel's fault ... and that damn useless Stephanie ... "

Moz,Lame Steyn was acceptable at Loftus against the Wallabies where he was instrumental in the success of the Boks against a K*K  OZ team.
Similarly, Steyn was INSTRUMENTAL in the whipping the Boks got from the AB's in Durban.

 There s one thing that Mozart will never admit.   Before the 2014 Ellis Park test Hansen said they know exactly what to expect from Steyn - but do not know what will ne the case with Pollard.   So the AB's lost that match.
Do people really think that Hansen and the AB's change their mind on Steyn's predictability?   They did not and he was effectively neutralized and became an embarrassment for the Springboks in that test.   He was replaced rather early in the second half of that game because of the problems he was causing.
Not only was his defense and that of De Jongh an open invitation for the AB's to attack in the channel - his kicking game was so poor that it basically represented a constant hand-over of possession to the AB's.
That was a major contributor to the massive loss - the other factor being the horrible defense of our wings on that day.  Also the deficiency in the case of Alberts with regard to defense contributed to the terrible result.   
Irrespective of what you dream up and invent that was the crux of the matter.   

 

 It's time to move on from the past, Morne is the past. Unfortunately it's never been that easy as we look at our Flyhalf stocks......seriously guys, which one of them would waltz into the AB side or that matter the Oz side? Please don't irritate me with Jantjies/ Lambie or Goosen...asseblief!
