England thrashed Fiji and looked to have a good all round game.

scrappy game but ireland are slowly and surley finding their strenghts and playing with confidence.

Boks need to just settle and whats up with those razzle dazzle gharlem globe trotter set peicies??? o_O
settle it down and work ur way into it, dont try to be too fancy.
also a bit moire physicality would go a long way.

The Beeno Power Pack will have to come out and do more in the 2nd half.

that was an ugly first half.

They need a big first 10 minutes in the second half to win this game.

This rates with the Argies match as the flatest we have seen the Boks. One hopes they will wake up in the second half. Barnes seesm to really dislike SH sides. Also that yellow was rediculous the tackle must have been milliseconds early. We are conceding a penalty every 3 minutes. 

I would bring on Coetzee at 8 and switch Vermuelen to 7.

QUITE so Canned rugby. Well done to Meyer as his half time talk did the trick. Bad first half but decent second half.
Will need to improve further to beat England. Once penalty flow stopped we came back into the game.

Adriaan Strauss was great  as was Louw.

The scrum debacle never happened - which must be puzzling to Mile.

I would like to see Marcell at 8 Vermuelen at 7. De Jong at 13 and Taute at 15 next up.

Job....Done. Wasn't pretty, but a win is a win I guess.

Need to tidy it up though for next weekend.

Well done SA! a poor game inasmuch as SA poor in the first half and Ireland poorer in the 2nd.

If this was an MMA match, Boks Ground and pounded their way to a win , not pretty, but a typical bok win, I watch every test and there's always a faint hope we will see a running Bok team, but nope. They run they just don't know what to do with the ball,  solution maybe a foreign back coach.

Why blame the referee?  He has to blow what was happening.   Remember - the Boks in the first half was buggered uo having to play with 6 players and 2 passengers.   I may be wrong - but of the 11 penakties given away in that half - I counted at least two beiing given away by Van der Linde (it may even be three - but I must gave a look at the game again0 and one was by Kirchner.   All of those were in fact justifible.

If the Beast cannot play for the remainder of the tour -  Meyer should call up Malherbe p start with Van der Merwe and put Malherbe on the bench.   

He should also seriously rethink what is to be done with Kruger.  He just was ot up to standard.   I think a re-think of taute should also be tried.   He should be moved to full back - but the danger is that he would then have to play the "useless on attack" De Jongh at center.   One wonders what would be worse = to change the full back or allow De Jongh to play at center.

I think that Meyer knows what to expect from the latter,  That is why he had no option to keep him on the bench.--
