Against the Wallies England is superior on almost every dimension...against the Boks it will be a huge physical battle up front with an uncertain outcome. But that doesn't mean the Boks are a cinch to beat Wales. The current Boks have built their reputation on their results against NZ...but as we saw today NZ is more vulnerable than 3 years ago.
Wales have won some big, close matches recently.....two at this WC. We have yet to win a meaningful match at the WC. Looking at the lineups we should win just based on our pack....but we have no breakdown game and a backline that scarcely functions.
If I was placing a bet it would still be on the Boks, but having beaten England this year, the Pom victory over NZ will lift Welsh belief. It's going to be tense!
