WE DO NOT WANT TO LOSE AGAINST SCOTLAND - OR ENGLAND EITHER FOR THAT MATTER

The Springboks have risen to second place on the IRB World Rankings.

The Springboks’ 16-12 victory over Ireland on Saturday was enough to see them leapfrog the Wallabies into second place. France jump up to fourth place and trail Australia by only 0.32 rating points.

Argentina elevate to seventh place after their win over Wales, with Ireland slipping to eighth spot.  Well done Argies!!!

The All Blacks still hold first place by a comfortable margin. ( Log flatters them methinks - remember Dunedin. But thanks abs fo rnot losing to OZ!!  Hahhahahahahahaha - these down under pals slipped up there?

IRB WORLD RANKINGS:
1 NEW ZEALAND 92.91
2 SOUTH AFRICA 85.50
3 AUSTRALIA 84.82
4 FRANCE 84.58
5 ENGLAND 83.09
6 WALES 80.60
7 ARGENTINA 80.29
8 IRELAND 79.04
9 SCOTLAND 77.97
10 SAMOA 77.14

I do not hope for much.  We will be back soon enough to the no 4 position if we lose against both the Scots and the POMS.   The POMS will defnitelt beat us and the Scots has a realistic chance as well.

I expect a win against Scotland, unless it becomes the mud wrestling show it was the last time the boks lost to Scotland. Scotland have played their game for the season against the All Blacks and unlikely to play as well against the boks,

Although England are a tougher prospect- very concerning. If England do win, it could potentially push them up above us? We need to get our backline firing before we play England, we cant rely on forward domination alone as the English pack is good and our tight five apart from Ezbeth and Strauss is not our best.

France look like they are starting to return to the team they usually are. The last 4 years was a bit of a mess for them with that crazy coach they had. Australia took the beating fortunately and this has pushed us to number 2

We'll lose against England if selections are not made correctly. We shouldn't be too concerned against Scotland, we'll be fine.
