Somebody clearly made the mistake of listing this guy as a starter. Still that gives the serial whiner and doper Silly Boy another Bok cap.. In the scheme of things not a big deal but just another piece of cynicism that says we are still on the political roundabout.....is aspirant ANC member Lloyd Burnard happy now? .. Springboks – 15 Andries Coetzee, 14 Dillyn Leyds, 13 Jesse Kriel, 12 Francois Venter, 11 Courtnall Skosan, 10 Handré Pollard, 9 Ross Cronjé, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 6 Francois Louw, 5 Lood de Jager, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Wilco Louw, 2 Bongi Mbonambi, 1 Beast Mtawarira. Subs: 16 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 17 Steven Kitshoff, 18 Trevor Nyakane, 19 Franco Mostert, 20 Dan du Preez, 21 Rudy Paige, 22 Elton Jantjies, 23 Warrick Gelant.

It seems he will be starting, I just saw an article that also says he is starting.
It is the least transformed team by Coetzee ever, so they had to make a spot by dropping Marx- arguably our best player

That team is standard BS by Coetzee.   Starting from the back -
*    Coetzee needs support - but he will not get it from that lot;*    The flyhalf is problematic and is not matchfit;*    Vermeulen was poor in the game on Saturday;*    Why is Marx out - not even on the bench.
Poor Du Toit will have to play as virtually the only loosie on the field of play and the two wings will be peppered with high kicks which will cause serious problems for the team.   Bloody awful performance to be expected.

Marx failed to pass the fitness test, but it just shows you what happens if you only rely on 40% of your squad to pull you through.
The selection policy is nothing more than somewhat good players and absolutely disgraceful window dressing. Chilli Whilly Boy will get another cap and will demand that he should start at the Sharks, when he wouldn't even make a Currie Cup team.
This is where we miss Akker Van Der Merwe or Bismark. Bongi is okay, but nowhere in the same league as Bismark or Marx.
Just thing how much better our players would have been when we know that we have quality players in each position that has earned their spot and competing against one another. I could see the likes of Bismarck pushing Marx and telling him to Pry the bok jumper out of his cold dead hand, but instead, we are left with entitled individuals that think that because they are the majority and won the vote that they should also be entitled to get first dibs in a team

Don’t hurt yourself Tokkie....you are trolling so hard. But I feel your pain, your man Allende can’t even make the bench for that sorry team. LMAOFY!

Funny sort of complacency indeed Kingcorn.

Allende better than Steyn....hmm. What high priced overseas contract does Allende have? None? Ah well the market has spoken.

So the comparative l ow priced contract Steyn has is now a norm.
