Leading SA bookies, Ladbrokes, have installed the Stormers as 2/1 favourites, with the seven-time champion Crusaders next best at 5/2, followed by the current table-topping Chiefs at 11/4.The Bulls (10/1) and Sharks (25/1) are considered outsiders for the title.
The Stormers' remaining three matches see them welcome the Lions to Newlands (June 30), after which they travel to Bloemfontein to face the Cheetahs (July 7). They finish their campaign against the lowly Melbourne Rebels at home on July 14.
The Stormers currently top the South African Conference by five points from the Bulls, but trail the Chiefs by four points in the Combined standings.
