The odds are as follows:-

Chiefs/Bulls                  Chiefs             5/10         Bulls                 18/10

Hurricans/ Rebels        Hurricans       1/4          Rebels              33/10

Blues/Highlanders       Blues             15/10       Highlanders      6/10

Brumbies/Reds            Brumbies        9/10       Reds                   9/10

Force/Lions                   Force                4/10       Lions                 22/10

Cheetahs/Waratahs    Cheetahs       6/10        Waratahs          15/10

Sharks?Stormers        Sharks            15/20     Stormers            12/10

Now how can anyone make money on that lot.     Let the best advisor in the business make some suggestion.    Take a treble - making the following good things:-

Chiefs/  Highlanders / Sharks     -        11,44/1   or in the alternative

  Chiefs/Highlanders/Cheetahs    -           8,9/1

However, the really good odds would be to look at the sides most likely to win against the odds.    I am worried about the Rebels - their last couple of games were good and the odds do not reflect the situation properly.   They are poor travellers - but they have the ability to beat the Highlanders.   At 33/10 they are worth a nibble.

I give a small chance to the Stormers to upset the applecart and the following terble should be taken as a coverbet:-

Chiefs/Highlanders/Stormers      -         13,08/1

Make a couple of Thousand on those bets

Mike time for some honesty - how much do you lose a month?

Sorry - the advice is for the suckers.   i have not placed a bet on rugby for years.  The last three years I backed the Durban July winners though and hope to get it right this year as well.

Did anyone follow the advice of Clevermike Aufrichtig - the bookmaker that never loses a bet.   Let me remind the gentlemen and ladies on this Board that clevermike advised people to back the following trebles:-

Chiefs/  Highlanders / Sharks     -        11,44/1   or in the alternative

  Chiefs/Highlanders/Cheetahs    -           8,9/1

The situation is critical - if you put up R200 you would have  got back R1144 plus R900 - a whopping net profit of R1844.   The clevermike betting forecast is really the one to follow.
