Bools shock
Very competitive game in that the Landers defense was good enough to keep them in it in spite of the stats Moz posted.
I agree Pollard is playing very well & also showed good game management.
The Bulls did not oppose the Landers' lineout and perhaps tried too many mauls while the Landers did defend the Bulls' maul well.
Pollard was special and the Bulls' scrum was good.
The ref determined the outcome of this match.

Your assessment of player performances are BS since it has nothing to do with actual performance and everything to do with your likes or dislikes of players. I agree Pollard was top notch and good was De Jager and Kriel.
Nyakane was good in scrumming - a vast improveent what he was under Meyer, Ludeke and Marais.
The Bulls are going to have to improve depth in the backline. Pollard and Gelant are good but they can do get marked on defence as well as closing down options around them.
Having a really fast winger on the outside could help break down defences more- especially against the bigger backlines in the tournament. If you cant go over them or through them, go around them. Some chips throughs could have been tried as well, but not many of the Bulls backs can kick properly.
Jessica was exposed as a utility back with average utility value. Defences have seen what he offers, and the defences are usually prepared for his Goose hops.
Good to see the rise of ALL the SA Super sides - we were getting abit complacent.
