Bools vs Guppies

Maakniks gives the ball away with a silly up and under. Bosch gives it back....but Gelant knocks on, on his own goal line....Sharks try.

Old man Daniel turns over a ball....van Wyk runs through a barn door. All off on the wrong foot because of Maakniks....but du Preez knocks on, no surprise there.

 ....Bools score after the du Preez knock.

Maakniks misses touch after the penalty....Schreuder kicks away good ball.

Horrible pass by Bosch....Nkosi knocks on.

Now Nkosi off side.

Half the yellow gone....mostly Bools.

Pretty stupid play by the Bulls and Sharks score.  

Now the New Bools try to run it out from their own line and gift the Guppies a try.

Bulls 12 makes another knock-on.   

Jeez these Bulls are clueless.  

Scrummie tries to kick over the top with no protection in front of him after telegraphing his intentions for about half an hour.  

Maybe the worst charge down ever.....the scrumhalf totally ignores two Bools unmarked ready to charge. The Bools have shot themselves in the foot so many times.....if this is a well coached team I’d hate to see a poorly coached one.

Now du Preez is stripped again and the Bools score....school boy rugby.

Gelant outjumped by van Wyk.....du Preez stripped again.

Good looking attack from the Bulls. 

‘Lovely’ offloading game by Bools according to the ‘commentator’....as the example shows series of stupid passes that give the ball away right on the Sharks line.

Not exactly riveting stuff.  

Odendaal abuses tiny little Bosch for a try......good basic try, less of the 50/50 offloads.

Good drop by Bosch followed by a silly attempt with the Bools under the cosh.

Bools can’t scrum.. crucial penalty by Bosch...and they say scrums don’t matter anymore.

Maakniks gains 5 metres on the penalty.....and Bools then conceded a penalty.

Mitchell pulls Maakniks....Bools running out of time.

‘Some of the offloading is superb’.....after the Bools concede another turnover by forcing the offload.

Last chance saloon Gelant knocks on again.....he was the commentator theme of the day.....did one or two nice things, but his mistakes outweighed anything positive.

That’s the ball game. The Mitchell Bools playing the ‘new game’ handily spanked by a boring Sharks team that scrummed, tackled and kicked their penalties....they also had the van Wyk try right out of the Springboks playbook. .. We have to learn that teaching forwards to handle, and the Bools forwards can, will not win matches if you can’t scrum or protect the breakdown. The Bools had plenty of chances which mostly ended when they tried to force the offload.
