 April should have passed he had two outside him. Bulls score on the counter.

Some horrible handling leads to a Bools try....nice break by April.

Stepfontein making lots of tackles...Du Preez blows a try scoring chance by obstructing.

Sharks 12 and 13 tackle high...no consequences.

Interesting how guys like Coenie and Dan du Preez are easily handled by the Bools when Coenie and twin Jean Luc looked imposing against the Frogs. The very poor Frog team wasn't a good measuring stick. The one player who has really benefited from some decent coaching is Steppie. But in the RC it will be much harder against decent centres.

 Yes, Serf is an influential playe r right now but let's see how he does against the ABs.

Thomas du Toit still can't really scrum....concedes penalty.

It's sardines on toast....they seemed clueless. The Bools had lots of energy today.

I missed the game. I am not convinced about Garth April, was he bad again? He is a poor man's Jantjies. Even less physical and fewer skills.  Was Bosch at 15 for the whole game?

The influence of the Bulls centres exposure to Bok/Lions rugby has perhaps created some purpose, or Jon Mitchell the task master is already in action. 

Actually April was a bit of a lucky packet. He made some impressive runs with the ball, but also committed a few turnovers. And certainly Stepfontein has stepped up his game considerably...but Kriel did nothing of note, still crowding the wings, kicking two balls dead.....getting turned over.

 Sharks have already qualified for the quarter finals & bulls are out of it. Perhaps that explains the result but I also think Mitchell is already having an influence on the Bulls.

 There was a much better backlined display by the Bulls - even though Kriel was the bad link.   I must agree with JW about Mitchell influence be felt already.
I think Serfontein was also influenced by Venter and Smith as well.   He was a vastly different player he was under Ludeke and Meyer - so the BS non-existent game plan of those two exposed again.   
The problem was all over.   Du Preez was poor - his ball handling and positional play was seriously deficient.   Esterhuizen was poor as well.
The only player of the Sharks deserving any real credit was Du Toit.   His scrumming was not as poor as Mozart made it out to be.  And his contribution outside of scrumming was really big.   
I think that there is a problem with the Sharks team - they do not seem toknow what to do with the ball in hand.   

For such a big unit Du Toit is a nothing in the scrums.

 Serfontein has ALWAYS BEEN A BRAINY CENTER WITH VISI ON AND SKILLS TO PUT OTHERS AWAY. THE DUMBASS BULLE USED HIM AS A CRASHBALLER!

 
An in form, confident Serfontein is a special player. It will be great to see him start playing as we all know he can.

Mitch will bring out the best in him.

Imagine having an in form Serfontein, Vorster, Janse van Rensburg, Am, De Allende duking it out for the Bok midfield?
