Boshoff granted early release by Connacht

"Connacht have announced that they have agreed to the release of Marnitz Boshoff from the remaining year of his contract on compassionate grounds. 

Boshoff, who is currently in South Africa, requested to return home to be closer to his family after the sudden and tragic passing of his father earlier this year.  

Having joined the squad last October, the fly-half made his debut against the Cardiff Blues in November but injured his shoulder in his second appearance against Treviso.

Boshoff returned to the fold late in the season to make two further appearances and played his final game for Connacht away to Munster in May.

Connacht wished Boshoff and his family all the best for the future and thanked him for the contribution he made during his time there.

Commenting on his departure from the Sportsground, Boshoff said: “I would like to thank Connacht Rugby for agreeing to my request to be released from the final year of my contract after what has been a difficult season for me both on and off the field.

“During my time with the province I have experienced first-hand the unique sense of pride and community that exists throughout the province.

“There is an incredible group of players representing Connacht and I am proud to say I was part of this group. I have learned hugely from both players and management over the past season and this experience will have a positive impact on my career in the future.

“I would also like to thank the Connacht supporters who have been incredible when I represented them on the field and with their personal good wishes off the field. I wish Connacht every success in the future.”

An announcement with respect to a replacement will be made in the coming days."

Bet I know what Mozart's response will be in this case and am sure I will be correct - something to the effect that Boshoff was useless and the reason given was a sham.

Such is Piss Mint's dislike of Mozart, that he openly decides not to admonish Mike, (and for that matter, agreeing with his actions here) for such a poor and sad decision to try and roast another poster on here by making that disgusting reference over such a tragedy.

You are sinking to new lows Piss Mint.... to levels I didn't even think you could descend to.  

You know what Mike, I defended you against Mozart when he made some remarks about you that I thought were offensive and I made it publicly known on here.

Call me what the hell you want, but I will now defend Mozart in this instance. 

It's a sick way for you to try and belittle another poster on here...... it crosses the boundaries, and the fact that your Piss Mint buddy fails to even mention how much "in bad taste this really is" just shows how much dislike he has for Mozart.

I didn't realise your dislike for Mozart was on the same level as Piss Mint's.

I understand Mike may get frustrated and go on a tirade at times, but this crossed the line.

At least with the incident I am referencing, where I defended Mike, Mozart realised what he had done and apologised to Mike.

So Mozart called him Maaknitz.....

And now, because of that comment, you thought that Mozart would use this players father dying, as an excuse for the club releasing him because of poor play.

Sheeeesh Mike, you are far worse than I thought.

If that is how you judge being successful, then your take on achieving success is far........... far different than mine.

If we now accept that it is perfectly fine and normal to use the unfortunate passing of someone's family member, to throw an insult to another poster, then what kind of forum is this becoming.

Then you have another twat, Piss Mint, who equates complaining about refs on a forum, to assaulting them to the point that they are knocked unconscious or ganged up on by multiple people and put them into hospital.

Two class acts we have here, both support each other, both agree with each other
